I have upgraded my PC from Win7 Ultimate (OEM) to Win10 Pro. Win10 Pro is activated.

I just bought a new SSD a few days back as I plan to do a clean install of Win10 today on it.

Do I need to backup any key or no need since it is a generic key?
Will Win10 activate since I'm changing from HDD to SSD on my PC?

Edit: After more reading, should be no problem right, since the Hardware ID is already with MS...

Can confirm using a new HDD to clean install after upgrading to W10 on old HDD will activate successfully.
