Guys, simple question here. Does it make a difference where I get my WoW starter pack from? It seems like it is going real cheap in places other than Malaysia. I saw it being sold for 40 Singapore dollars at Sim Lim Square, and USD20 on Amazon.com.
Thanks for your patience.

ie Is there a difference if you buy from the US or Singapore or Malaysia? Is there such thing as a US version of the game, or Asian version of the game? Thx!

QUOTE(Peanutz @ Nov 14 2006, 07:27 PM) The price difference is caused by middle man jacking up the price for their own profit. For the best deal now is to purchase the game online using your credit card through Blizzard. As for the retail version, all the retailers here are selling WoW that plays in US servers. As far as I know, there is 4 places where their servers are located. US, UK, China and Korea. There won't be any different if you purchase WoW in Singapore or Malaysia, because it all connects to the US server Hope that clears things up for you. Thanks for the clarification guys. So to confirm, I would be safe to buy from Amazon.com eh? (I'm more inclined to play on the US servers, since Singapore and Malaysia connects to US servers).
