Went to Prime Le Meridien, was billed RM732 and after 45% Citibank Premiermiles discount, bill came out RM402.6.

Worth the deal biggrin.gif

the 45% off apply to Ala carte menu only? If other starwood's restaurant that offer buffet will get 45% off as well? Anyone can confirm this?

I just got the card approved and they are sending the card to me as I post. Just wondering, is there any place where I can get better reward for using citibank card? I'm getting the clear and shell card. Not sure where can I use the clear card to maximize profit.

Thanks in advance!

Mind to tell how much you swiped with this card in the past 1 year?

Yeah I want to know also.
I have few monthly standing instructions with the card, so means I am using the card every month.
If they are not happy with 100k usage per year with prompt paymaster, I don't know what customers are they looking for?
*
I don't spend much on this card, less than 5k for the whole year. I always call up 1 month before card anniversary and get waived for continuous 5 years

Premier miles can enter the new Flight Club in KLIA1 (across the current PPL). Just register at PPL and they give u a sticker to sticker on your shirt. Limited to one mains + desserts, unlimited salad and soup, alcohol only Tiger beer. Please refer to my other post in Airport Lounge thread.
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=77950112

According to another PPL staff, access only be given if PPL is full. Can't confirm this.

I am new card holder. This website mention that we can have 2 times access to global lounge per calendar year (on top of the unlimited PPL access in KLIA, SG, HK etc). Can anyone confirm this?

The 2 times access to global lounge per calendar year no longer valid as Citibank stop issuing Priority Pass for Premier miles.

Hi, tried to get AF waiver recently for my Citi Rewards card. They only offered to waive 50% (RM300).
This also happened to me in 2015.

Another option is to use your points to pay the AF, which is really not worth it.

I've been using a Citi card for almost 20 years, and they keep on upgrading my card throughout the years.
So from no AF at the beginning to now its RM600, and recently they suddenly sent me the Premiermiles card!

Don't know what I did to deserve this second card... I'm not the biggest spender.

It looks like its very hard to get AF waiver for Rewards card nowadays even if we beg. Oh well, moved out all my autodebit to other bank card, redeemed all my points and will be cancelling my two Citi cards soon.

Has been using citibank cards for about 10 years, I got the waiver every year, the tricks is u need to let citibank earn a little $ which i always do a BT just 1 or 2 months before the card anniversary, ask for waiver before the month of fee charge to your card, and settle the BT in full. (if u have more than 1 card, do BT for 1 card enough) End up u just pay a few dollars of interest. This always works for me, i just got my waiver last week for my world rewards card and visa signature. Citibank giving me very high CL, I just wanna keep it as emergency.

For BT, Citi does offer for 1 or 2 months ?? Or take 6 months but make it early settlement ??
*
Don't opt for installment type BT, tell them u want reducing balance BT which no early settlement fees, once u BT then outstanding balance will show the full amount, you can settle it the next day after BT.
