I don't understand what the problem is? This means you probably didn't spend much with the card so why should they waive it for you? It's not like they're asking you to spend it in one transaction.

Just saw my April bill and I was charged RM600 + RM36 gst for my PremierMiles card annual fees. Ouch. Called for a waiver but cs said wavier department is closed and will call me back within 3 days.

I believe I have spent close to RM50k with this card. I really really hope they will waive the annual fees, if they don't, I will be really disappointed and sad...

Honestly, the perks for this card are good. I have used it countless times for PPL (especially after MBB VS began limiting entries to PPL), Dominoes free snack, Coffee Bean discounts, SPG discounts etc. etc.

Update:

No one called me within 3 days so I had to call them up again today. Waiting time and going through the menus are too long IMO for a "premium" card. However, they verbally told me it is waived and they will take back the 10,000 points that was deposited. Quite painless I would say.

Then you are at their mercy because of that instalment plan. My annual fee was waived quite effortlessly. And i only spend with my card on stuffs that give me benefits. I also feel that their customer service is still considered pretty good.

Mine was waived for second year in a row. Third year having this card. I used the card countless times to PPL. Just make sure you spend a bit with the card, they are quite lenient on waiving annual fees.
