I recently applied for Citibank CC and I asked whether I need to submit more income documents to speed up the application.

Was told that Citibank only consider salary received from employers and nothing else. Meaning if I have other savings, tenancy and dividend incomes, Citibank won't take into consideration when applying for the CC?

Probably your working experience is too little for them to consider?

Usually need at least 1 year of record with another bank or your application rejected almost instantly.

Local banks higher chance.

Citibank always give generous limits despite of your salary. Maybe that's why a bit hard to get

Don't think they accept FD for their cards. Not stated anywhere at all. PBB and MBB got write somewhere last time. HLB also.

Not that it matters, the income threshold quite low for the lowest card.
