Just saw my April bill and I was charged RM600 + RM36 gst for my PremierMiles card annual fees. Ouch. Called for a waiver but cs said wavier department is closed and will call me back within 3 days.

I believe I have spent close to RM50k with this card. I really really hope they will waive the annual fees, if they don't, I will be really disappointed and sad...

Honestly, the perks for this card are good. I have used it countless times for PPL (especially after MBB VS began limiting entries to PPL), Dominoes free snack, Coffee Bean discounts, SPG discounts etc. etc.

shoud be easy

I had a platinum that I applied and didnt use for a year, they promised me waiver once I spent 1.5k on the card within a month.

I think they are desperately trying to retain their customers, just few days ago I received invitation for PremierMiles without conditions

u better confirm once they call you.

i cancel my Air Asia card as i don't use it. Then some complication because they sent me an email to upgrade to Premier Miles but later told me not valid because i cut of my AA which was a Visa Card. They claimed that offer was based on me holding AA Visa but i only receive that email after i cut off.

Long story short, one fine day they called me saying they will offer me the card but i was busy so i told them to call back later.

They never call back laugh.gif

previously holding Citibak Plat, recently they. changed it to Citibank Rewards and charged me annual fee. Last year on Citibank Plat they want me to spend certain amount within a month to waive.

just called and they were happy to waive off, I seldom spend with this card so keep for fun.

I do however have Citibank PremierMiles which I spend on it quite abit for free limo home.

How's the Rewards card? I just applied for one to replace my old Airasia Gold card (and approved) - awaiting for arrival. They even give me a Simplicity card to boot  thumbup.gif

no idea really, I only use their premier miles for free taxi home from klia.

I originally sign up cause of bt promo, then its cost free (no annual fee) thus I just keep

Citi mentioned in their PremierMiles card page that they have partnerships with more than 90 airlines. I mistakenly assumed that this means the PremierMiles I've collected can be redeemed as frequent flyer mileages with those "90+ airlines". Apparently that's not the case.  sad.gif
*
they include all the FFP partner is it?

Example with Asia Miles you can redeem almost all One World Alliance partner ticket.

Hi all, anyone has experience in using premiermiles?

Im thinking to apply for it. does the card recognized online transactions done in usd to gain the 2points per rm3 spent?

The points gained, when changed to say MH does it have a points to miles ration? last time on clear card... They made it 10pts to 3 miles. Does other airlines have diffrent ratio?

The points is it strictly can be used only in flights originating from malaysia? sometimes maybe want to fly from singapore?
*
the only good thing with this card is the free ride home from KLIA

if you want best bang for bucks miles card, look at maybank 2 premiers

I just called in to request for waiver for my premiermiles card and was approved right away. Cs even gave me the option of 10k points or annual fee waiver, of course I take waiver la.
*
wow this is new!!

did you notice that they award you the pts even before you pay? i wonder what happened if you convert the pts and call for waiver.

EDIT: thank you so much!! I assumed it was not waive-able and was prepared to pay because I need the limo

you saved me RM636!!!

apparently they keep track of the miles, deduct 10k out for not paying AF

i have 100k points and yet they didn’t waive my AF last year

discrimination ?

to be honest citibank were pretty rigid on their AF waiver, last year i managed to waive for my platinum but they ask me to spend certain amount within a month.

i think this is new, perhaps due to losing too many customer recently?
