I live here since I was born and now im working in this area too. Here considered middle class housing area. Surrounding got neighborhood supermarkets such NSK (open 24 hours), Pearl Point, OUG plaza (Parkson), taman desa De Market(new open). This area is good cos linked to old klang road, taman desa, sri petaling, kuchai lama, mainly chinese area. A lot of road side stalls, restaurants, cafe around. Recent years many developments coming up, all main roads are congested during peak hour. If want to go major shopping mall, mid valley is nearest. If want to go pubs, Scott Garden got many. If want to find massage girl, nearby pearl point, kuchai lama, sri petaling got many.

Taman Desa dweller here, I'd prefer TD over OUG.

Yes, taman desa is the best one compared to other taman in old klang road. Got many japanese living there. The property price also the highest in old klang road.

How is it like to live in chinese majority neighbourhood ?

i have never lived in a chinese majority area b4. my area is pretty mixed.

Taman Desa. why ? within 5 mins can reach to federal, smart tunnel, Seremban highway.

OUG and Tmn Desa is miles apart still have, Tmn Yarl, Tan Yew Lai, Happy Gdn, United Gdn, Bkt Indah, Kuchai lama. Sri Petaling and Bukit Jalil also within the vicinity. Mojority Chinese, food is abundant

Nothing much different, just more chinese foods selection, more chinese temples, school majority chinese pupils. Oh ya I forgot to mention the major pasar malam in this area, Tue: Sri Petaling, Thurs: OUG, Saturday: happy garden jalan lazat.

Taman Desa is good. If TS got budget I also recommend TS to live in taman desa.

And don't forget upcoming Paradigm 2 and Pavilion 2

Btw I see next to Tulin, (opposite Monday pasar malam) they flatten the hill there. Do what har?

Ermm..not a food centre for meleis.. but the place is quite calm to live in... especially those in bukit oug, z residence..etc2..atleast I can find a peace here instead of rempitland of danau kota.

Night life is merely dead unless you are non malay then you can still cheong at nearest bar and club. Not much people wandering around, walking ,don't have good mamaks, can't hear people laugh or cheer so hard from mamaks bola game.

That land not sold yet, it's a commercial land, currently rent to someone doing car business there. No development yet.

You go drive around the area in between Pearl Point and OUG Plaza (Parkson) shopping centre. Kuchai Lama got many too. Sri Petaling Endah Parade also a lot.

many people said its better to go sri petaling market to buy grocery... better quality
nsk price is cheap but not good in quality..

If coming from jalan kuchai lama, after pass by McD, it would be on your left. If you coming from OUG (main road jalan gembira), after you pass by some old flats and apartments, you will see NSK on your right.

No, kuchai lama is a stretch of road, consists of happy garden. OUG, Taman Yarl is not considered as kuchai lama, they are quite a distance from jalan kuchai lama if you check on google map.

Before, I left that place due to tired of congestion , even though I miss that place so much now.. But I prefer living peacefully. Haha

Not only that but since gt uptown it's really full of rempit ppl everywhere. I remember those days when festival city were not build yet. Really peaceful

Year 2000 double storey terrace house already RM800k....now I think must be at least 1.5M?? Houses there really big and spacious, like 24 x 80. Lots of land.

The new shops are good for local though, and the nearby LRT is great too.

happy garden is my hometown . My grandfather bought a shophouse here since 1970's. Good feng shui or not i tak tau. But I know this place is good for family staying, quite convenient cos got morning/night market, got many eateries stalls, nearby got NSK, kuchai commercial area and near sri petaling, near old klang road, near mid valley, the location is quite central.

Me staying in taman desa for the past 10 years. Only complaint is the recent build up traffic due to scott garden and other development. Other than that no complaint. Consider center of everything for me, go kl, go subang, go pj, go puchong, go cheras all not very far away.

Yep bro, danau kota. you can google around the development on the centre of danau.. 535k 900sqf.

not too jam, where is not jam in KL? no idea when people emphasising on traffic jam while i never stuck in jam more than 30 minutes. i'm still ok with minor jam.
