What type exam of programming they give for interview? COmpany got tell you have exam? The programing exam hard not?

just tembak lah.....as long as u know C, then should be fine lah...

look at the job requirement that you are applying for...should be one of the language stated there.

language is ok, i have seen many companies does not hire some1 cause of he knows a language, but skills and algorithm always come first, an experienced programmer can easily learn another programming language, they are almost the same, unless totally different platform(windows and linux).

Depend... some they give u computer and put a error program call u fixed it, some call u develop some program. Some just paper exam

I had went for interview to do programming many many many many years ago. And there is no MSDN

Here is a list of programming test interview I knew of:
1) Computer Based Test
There is a company that give 3 hours of technical and programming interview question to candidates. Basically you have write some sql, module codes, VB codes, C++ codes, and etc.
2) On The Spot Programming
There is a company that ask you to write a program on the spot. They provide you a PC, programming question to begin with. The worst part is that they don't have MSDN !!! Arggg...
3) Paper Test
They give you a programming question to do. You just write the program on the paper.
4) Bring Home
They pass you a programming question to be done at home. Once done, send the program to the interviewer.
5) Q&A
They will get a very technical guy and post you programming question. And he will evaluate whether you really know the stuff or not.

It depends on company especially on programming question. Basically it all drills down to logics. Good Luck

Are you fresh or experience ? I think they will as you to write a simple proramming and test flow

Some companies also like to give theory questions based on programming language and databases.

As for fresh grad, they will ask very simple question. so don't worry about that

dont panic dude...I have gone thru it b4, I just could not came out with the programming language that they required......then no choice lor, I give them algorithem only.... tell you wat I got the job, hehe..

hint: dont wasting time to think of programming, there is so many type of programming, want to learn now aso no time liao. if you really cant think of wriiting the programming language they required at that moment, try to relax...then last hope write down the logic lor, then pray to god they take you.

sometimes give u IQ test, Self assessment test or your job relevant technical test. All depends

Mostly got objective questions.

Logic, SQL, basic programming knowledge.

Then write a small program, like few module.
