 how to replace undermounted sink?

GUys, if the undermounted sink have problem how to replace it ar? need to dismantle the whole top??

Depends how it was installed in the first place.
If your sink's ledge sits between a piece of wood and your countertop then you are pretty much farked
If it's just held on by silicone and mounting screws at the bottom, then you got a chance

I doubt you can remove the countertop without destroying the cabinet
Are you asking because your sink has a problem or is this just a precautionary step just in case something happens in the future?

did the bolded part cry.gif

just installed and used less than a week, found out some little 'mini-rusty-like' spots on the sink, scare it will spread more in future.. bought branded sorextx some more told me 304 stainless steel bla bla.. look like complain to seller even if they willing to replace also no use liao.. really farked

if use strong chemical wash remove the spots scare even worse.. haiii

Hmm...I remember seeing some rust remover or something like that at Ace Hardware
Never heard of Sorextx. Even name brands like Franke, Teka, etc also scared. Nowadays stainless steel cannot be trusted laugh.gif
Just hope for the best.

You will get rust even stainless steel. Is not rusy proof lah. Is only harder to get rust. Just use 3m green scrub and rub it off.

attack the spots with chemicals + pad first

Replace the x with another 2 alphabets (hint: n and o) and you should know which brand it is....
