Hi Hotlink,

I would like to know how do you guys calculate the validity and the date of termination. I top up on 6/6/15 for RM60(w/o gst) and that give me 60 days of validity and stay active until 5/8/15. Then I know there should be an active period and deactivate period (50days) before the number is being terminated.
I was planning to make a top up soon as I am oversea and need to ask someone to do it for me. But this morning when I check on the hotlink red app it says the number has already terminated on yesterday. If what I read on your website was correct, shouldn't my number now in deactivate period rather than being terminated? please reply me promptly.

Hi there,

How was the topup made? Was it RM60 in one topup amount or the topup is accumulative e.g. RM30 X 2 topups?

It was a one time top up, RM63.60 to be exact. Ref no: 977118367, top up made on 6/6/15 1:42pm.

Under normal circumstances, credit balance is forfeited once your number is terminated.

Just make a call after 5 working days will do. You may top up after the number has been activated.

How do I know if my sim somehow deactivated?

2 days ago I still received SMS. But since yesterday my network bar is zero. I thought my phone is faulty, but then I tried on 2 other phones, still the same, no network connection at all.

I thought it's just like what happens normally because usually when I'm inside my house the coverage became really weak. But this evening I went out to check it out and the network bar still zero...

Sim number : 8960010505 354045 12 5 (1) 64 A S
Validity 365 enabled last year, I believe there's still some months left.
Last topup was on June 2015.

Update :
When tried to dial any number : "Not registered on network"

On phone status menu :
Signal strength -97 dBm 8
Mobile network type > EDGE
Service state > Out of service

When tried manually select "MY MAXIS" under available network : "Your sim card does not allow a connection to this network"

And sometimes "MY MAXIS" not even appear under available network.
