Weight issue?

Don't think weight is a big problem. 2.5-3kg should not be a problem.. my current 7 yrs Compaq is around 2.6kg anyway. smile.gif

acer nitro might be good choice... with new gtx960m compare the old version 860m (heat issue)...+ lightweight... quad core still gv pretty unbearable heat sometimes.
*
Is Acer quality okay now? It used to be bad few yrs back...

Seems a good choice. Please upgrade the RAM to 8Gb.
Cons seems to be the speaker volume is soft. It can handle heat well.

Thanks for the feedback boss. I am considering either the RAM or the M.2 SSD hmm.gif

Kindly check MSI PE60 2QE

- Better Display Screen
- better GPU 960M
- Same chassis as GE62 - Check my post before
- More Ram, 8Gb
- Similar price

May i know what program would you be using? Because SSD can wait if and only if you are opening large files while RAM is essential for heavy programs.
*

Well office work word excel and stuff, but of and on some graphics design work with some rendering. I know the 8GB Ram will be good but with my current notebook with SSD, I can't really imagine booting up with HDD anymore.. tongue.gif

Well, with SSD opening big files of excel and stuff will be faster while the larger capacity RAM would be better for the renderings.

Why not both.  hmm.gif  tongue.gif

For tat price... get Inspiron 7447... similar performance... but cheaper.  Temperature hardly cross 70 Celsius..

You know I have spend hours and hours on dell website to look for something that might suit me. There always something that that will not suit me.. either its Display is not FHD or there is no 15.6 screen, there is no extra slot for SSD for future upgrade possibilities or there is touch screen that i don't really need etc etc.. 7447 is 14" screen so nope for me.. but thanks for suggesting smile.gif
