Hi Sifu(s), some tips for a new laptop for college please  

1. Preferred brand - Any

2. Budget - RM3,000 to RM3,500

3. Usage (in increasing priority)
- Light Gaming (games with specs like LoL); A little Video Editing; Designing; General Microsoft Office and web surfing multitask

4. Preferred:
- Screen size 13' to 14' will suffice, don't mind 15'
- 8 GB Ram
- Travel friendly
- SSD (not necessary)

May I ask, how long do you think GTX 850M will last before it becomes obsolete (dumb question, i know haha  )

If gaming is priority, you can go for Dell Inspiron 7447 DOS at 3k.
If you want to do some multi-task with light laptop with SSD, check out Lenovo U41-70.

Im am so close right now to place my order for dell 7447 (i5-4210H, 500GB, 4GB, NV GTX850M, W8.1), it suit my budget. Any thought/insight about the processor? Cant go for the i7 spec since it more than RM3k 

i'm not buying ssd lol. was telling the dude the cheapest

i live very far from kl, not worth the cost to go there

c. now aiming for Surface 3 4G/128G, which cost nearly 3K with keyboard....(almost overcost?)
d. SO. more suggestion needed

Maybe my question coverage all computer range which included tablet, laptop, AIO, and brick like casing pc.

If not out of topic, I accept AIO pc too, which large screen, i3 spec, with touchscreen.
And still cheaper then surface3 i believe.
