Screen size : 15inch n above

Is it possible to find this type of laptop tat suit me ?

You may wanna increase your budget a bit if you wanna play GTA 5 and video editing. You can get i5 with 2k budget but the GPU is not as good to play GTA 5. biggrin.gif

Hi guys, i think i will buy this ASUS GL552VW-DM136T for RM4399 or there are any other model that sifus can recommend for better graphic use in this range of price? Thnks..
*
GTX960M is the GPU that you can get around this price range. If you wanna go for GTX970M, you need to top up to 5k budget. Anyway, this model comes with an SSD right? Should be able to kick ass with the i7 skylake quad core. brows.gif brows.gif

Hi, helping friend to post this.

1. Preferred Brand - any
2. Budget - +- RM 2.5k
3. Usage -mostly gaming (asked him and he says Dota2 and LOL), i really LOLed..
4. Preferred laptop/screen size -
a) no idea. any size would be fine. main criteria is to play games smoothly.
b) 8 GB RAM
c) Storage? Maybe a 500 or 750 GB would be fine?

I'm from Puchong area. Do recommend me any place to get a good deal.. thanks~
*
GT940M is almost the best GPU you can get with 2.5k budget. Consider upgrading the ram to 8gb and you are ready to do high settings in D2/LOL biggrin.gif

Hahaha.. I dnt think i can add some more money.. Already maximum lah bro.. Hahaha.. Btw, just looking around and then i saw rog G551JW-DM017H and illegear z5.. Wht do you think about this model? Or mybe i can just get lenovo y50 got 256gb ssd some more?
*
Y50 lenovo is not as good as ROG G552. If you want a better after sales service, go for Dell 7559 or Illegear Z5/Q5. But you have to top up for SSD. IMHO, if you need more space for storage, get an external HDD. Or else 128gb is pretty much enough for me. biggrin.gif

So do you think rog g552 better thn g551? I look at their spec and noticed that g552 vram is 2gb n g551 vram is 4gb.. For my understnding more the vram more power will it can be.. Heheheh.. Damn so hard to choose bro..
*
Well, it's entirely depending on your usage. G551 comes with i7 haswell and 8gb SSD only if im not mistaken. It is also slightly heavier than the GL552. And one more thing, you have to be aware that the 2gb VRAM in GL552 is actually GDDR5. GDDR5 is much much faster than DDR3 and 2GB is more appropriate than 4GB for that card. biggrin.gif
