Ya, the ROG is good at your budget. If you want other model, you can consider MSI GP62. But not the GE60. biggrin.gif

Gt940m                      gtx950m(d3)

Which one is the best choice or suitable for my usage???

Go for the ROG. Don't even consider the GE60. It has overheating issue. Can boil egg. laugh.gif

Yeah..... Looking at these 2, n Acer V series with ssd too.
Yet to look at the real thing.
Normal use. Nothing serious.
128gb ssd on Asus seems a little lack of capacity though.
Or maybe I should wait another few months so that there will be more ssd notebook to choose from. Hmm

Get the lenovo U41-70. 256gb good enough biggrin.gif

Comparing Dell Inspiron 5558 (i5) and the one you recommended . Which 1 is better in terms of after sales service and overall use of the laptop?
*
Both HP and Dell are good in after sales service. They are well-known for this. HP has a much better graphic card. There is a big gap difference in term of performance between GT940M and GT920M. But personally, i would prefer the 5558 design. Looks so much better than the HP one. So, think wisely. biggrin.gif

1) Dell or anything equivalent quality and warranty service.
2) Budjet RM3k+-
3) Usage . Microsoft office, anime, gaming eg: csgo, modern game( can handle gta 5 ultra setting).
4) Preferences :
Performances which r similar with my desktop, Core i5 sandy 2400 3.1ghz, hd 7750 1gb oc'ed.
Light weight, long lasting while on medium performance setting ( as i dont want my chrome to lag when i multi-tasking with microsoft office),
fine keyboard for typing(layout similar mechanical keyboard) , good cooling system, good screen monitor above 14" (like true hd or something if possible anti blue light).
SSD preferred 128gb is fine. 8gb ram. 2gb gpu that's similar or better than hd7750(desktop).
*
With your current budget, it's very unlikely to get a laptop that is able to handle GTA 5 with ultra settings. Even GTX850M in Dell 7447 can only handle it in high settings with 29fps. Moreover, GTX950M in Asus K501LX also can handle high settings around 27-30fps. sad.gif

Only the screen size differs from each other. Other than that, all same. Personal preference on the screen size. Decide based on your usage. biggrin.gif

how's ROG G501jw?
*
Throttling issue is the main concern in this ROG model as mentioned by AthrunIJ. Most gamer skip laptop with throttling issue as this is severe enough to take effect when your do gaming for extended periods. So, if you do gaming a lot, skip this model. biggrin.gif

However, it has a relatively longer battery life than the Acer VN7 Nitro black edition. That one model has only about 3 hours battery life. Moreover, this ROG is lighter. Hence, better portability. Decide based on your usage. thumbup.gif

Only way to get ultra high is to pay an ultra high pricing.

Maybe you can highlight that to him tongue.gif

We should ask, Ultra high on what game 1st?

If Crysis, better use the money for a PC laugh.gif

Ya, but she did mention the games that she wanted to play GTA5 with ultra settings before. Kinda unlikely with GTX950M. A gaming rig is definitely still the best choice for gaming if portability is not a problem. biggrin.gif

Dear All,
looking for notebook with following spec
1) Light <2.0 Kg
2) Price 2.5K
3) Screen Size 13.3 or 14 inc
4) CPU i3 or i5 prefer with integrated graphic or others
5) Touch screen - nice to have but not necessary
6) Browsing, Office & some game (Mine Craft & May Lol/Dota 2)

Here are options that i got after some shopping in lowyat, within the price range & spec...
1) Lenova Yoga 500
2) Lenova U41
3) Dell Vostro 14 5000
4) Assus UX305 - the cpu abit slow...
5) Acer V3

I like designs of Assus,Yoga Touch screen and U41 overall spec, Dell support...

What is your comments of these notebook....
*
You have pretty much listed the good ones within your requirement.
If you want touchscreen, go for Yoga 500.
If you want good support, go for Dell Vostro 5480
Decide based on your usage. Everyone has their own priority in using a laptop. You cannot get the best bang for bucks for a laptop one. Very hard to find a all rounder laptop these days. Sure got some drawbacks for each laptop. Hope this helps. biggrin.gif
