Core M only comes in dual core flavors with hyperthreading, with TDP of 4.5 watts. its different than i7 Ulv which is dual core, but 2 threads.. this core M is dual core with 4 threads.

as comparison Here

The three main differentiators between each of the SKUs in the Core M line are the processor base frequency, the processor turbo frequency and the integrated graphics frequency range.

Intel Core M 5Y71 advantages
-Operating frequency of the CPU is higher than the frequency of the 5Y10, as a result this Intel Core M 5Y71 has better performance in most applications.

and M 5Y71 is newer processor too... Q4/2014 while 5y10 is Q3/2014  icon_rolleyes.gif

2. Budget - 3k
3. Usage - Heavy gaming

Gc have the highest priority~
Lenovo y40 gc is not bad but still lose to gt7/8/950m, gt940m is slightly under average, gt/gtx950m is mostly out of budget.. So any good gaming laptop to recommend?
*
Get the Dell 7447 with GTX850M. Much better than the GT940M. Since you have 3k, the 7447 with i7 DOS is around 2.8k.

Not fhd screen right?

The 2.8k one is not FHD. But if you are willing to pay for 3.4k, you can get FHD.

Acer, not sure about the build quality. Lenovo seems to be not worth the value since is not running Intel Chip. (Huge fans of Intel lol)

I take Acer into my consideration. What about Toshiba/Dell/HP choice? Got? Thanks for above recommendation as well.

It is worth the money to take that risk?

And can you pls kindly tell me are there any physical shop you recommend  in KL?

Thank you

Glad to hear that you are making so much effort before buying a laptop. Sorry that I was looking too much on the specs instead of the durability. There are still a few models to consider before buying a laptop.
1. Dell Vostro 14 5480-20452G-DW7SSDMC Laptop/ Notebook (i5-5200U, 256GB SSD, 4GB, NV GT740M, W7HP) RM3,380/-

Personally, I think that the Dell Vostro 14 5480 is good for your sister since it is designed to target female users and has a relatively long battery life. tongue.gif But please do your own research to compare these models ya. Since everyone has their own priority when it comes to choosing their laptop. Hope this helps. biggrin.gif
