1.when umno was banned all of it asset own by the party was frozen, so umno cant used the frozen asset when it needed immediately like funding election campaign.

2.then mahathir come up with trustee system that basic exploit the law, where three person hold umno asset so that nobody can froze party asset anymore because it was hold by trusted trustee.

3. sadly in the later years, this trustee start to songlap and no longer wanna return the the asset to the party.

4. to overcome this jibby eliminate the 3 trustee system and become the only trustee in umno.


The conclusion is we never know the trustee is songlap or not but we know that they can songlap if they want.

Based on their lavish lifestyle and their family business that valued billions, it is hard to believe they never not songlap.
