QUOTE(SlomoX @ Aug 10 2015, 12:03 PM) I panickkkkk... its just the first game of the season where normally smaller teams perform quite admirably (queue london neigbour loss)... Have watched the last 20 minutes of the game via replay while we were down to 10 men, I think the performance was quite alright.anyway, it seems that terry wasnt like himself in the game or is it just early season jitters, most of the time he was on no mans land. to put everything on ivan solely for the lost? nah its collective effort... who's supposedly covering his arse when hes upfield? normally it would be matic right? where was he? to me its simple we are too naive that we can steamroll swansea that day or everyone just have its off day. Do note also that we've only had like 5 pre season match this prior to the start of the day, and with all the traveling, quite taxing. While Hazard was largely anonymous in the Charity shield, but when watching him the last 20 mins against Swansea, I thought he did pretty well with his movement. Bring on City this Sunday, if we lose, at least it's still the 2nd game of the season... |

Last night game was really poor, the passing and all, it seems like they are still in pre season mode. Hopefully they will bounce back, if not Jose's head might be on the chopping board.

QUOTE(gry @ Aug 17 2015, 01:10 PM) Jose always have problem when in 3rd season. And with Eva issues, and journalist try to make terry subs as headlines made the things look worst. Hopefully we can start our season next week and really hopeful new signings for AM and RW Journalist already making a meal out of the whole issue after the game in Swansea, with the benching of JT and the defeat, even more things to cook for this week's paper! |

Have to say Iva really out of sorts in last night's game, hopefully time to bench him and maybe sent in Baba on the left? With Dave on the right? It's good we get 4 matches this month rather than an international break, hopefully they keep on the momentum through to Palace.
Btw, at first I have my doubt on Pedro (not really a follower of La Liga) but he's seriously good for a debut! |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Aug 24 2015, 03:23 PM) Hope to see this for next match, Baba, Zouma, Cahill, Azpi. Seriously Jose need to consider dropping Iva. The last 3 matches his performance is sub par. At least Azpi improved from last week, so can be said from Fab. Aside from that, the other 4 fellas that he mentioned last week in his PC still so so only. But I'm sure I'll see this instead, Azpi, Zouma, Cahill, Iva. |

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ Aug 28 2015, 07:55 AM) Martinez playing hardball, well I guess we should look elsewhere, sooner or later Stones will move. Just look at Luke Shaw, Morgan Schneiderlin and all those players.Garay seems alright for someone to play for us for a couple of seasons before we manage to get another CB. |

He should make a statement to sub out Iva rather than Azpilicueta. So can be said for Hazard rather than Willian.
Both have been poor for the past 4 games, if you notice the 1st goal by Palace, you can see Hazard is just ball watching when it's crossed over. There's no urgency, it's like back in those days before Abramovic era, one game play good, then the next, really really poor. For once, I think the international break would do us some good, since we don't have any momentum right now, it's better for us to address the issues over the break. |
