QUOTE(ray123 @ Sep 12 2015, 09:24 PM) I think it's the same problem as United: have ball players, ball runners, ball crossers, but no ball fighter to grab all the 50-50s and crunching tackles on a consistent basis. Somehow I feel it's a bit diff with Utd. Chelsea is like..... a lot of players x apa attitude. See how we started the game. Chelsea only played better once we get the goal. 2nd half was good. But Chelsea always seem to unable to start a game at it's highest gear. And also too many players missing. Hazard, Fab, Costa... |

If we still can't win the next 2 PL games, I'm worried for Mou. Roman will not be so kind anymore.

Ok, nak tulis karangan nih.
We started too slow, handed the initiative to Everton. Everton took advantage and scored 2 goals. After the goal, then suddenly Matic was getting impatient and bam, nice goal. After 2-1, honestly, I think we played better. Created more chance, more fast breaking, more direct. More urgency I would say. Up until the second half, we were doing gud too. The Kennedy sub came in early, which is a gud sign, Mou is positive, he wants a result, early sub. But then while chasing for the goal, we conceded. Can't really blame them much. Why? Coz we changed our shape after making all 3 sub. After all 3 sub, I think we were playing 442 with Matic and Willian as CM. We changed to attacking mode, hence leaving the defense more vulnerable. We gambled by playing 442 and sub in offensive player. The thing with gamble is, either it works, or it backfires. What I don't understand is, our final third. We should shoot more! Iva should stop dwelling on the ball. He shud've passed to Costa earlier in 1 of the counter attacks. I was shouting at this point. LOL. conclusion, we could not seem to start a match at top gear. Only after going down, then we can play at a higher gear. We are creating chances, but not finishing them. the 3rd goal was a backfire from our gamble. I don't blame the players or Mou. Diz time Mou reacted early. In 50+ min, he sub in Kennedy, an attacking move to try to change the game. But obviously, after all 3 subs have been made, and a change of formation, after playing more attacking football, our plan backfired. That's the thing with gamble, either it works, or it backfires badly. So yea, our gamble with early sub of Kennedy did not work. At least Mou tried to change the game earlier this time, 50+ min he sub in Kennedy. Oscar really badly missed. This post has been edited by briantwj: Sep 12 2015, 09:57 PM |

It's ok guys, let those ppl ejek. We support our team thru the gud times and the bad times. We will find our form (just duno when will it exactly be), and we will win games.
For the league, really can say gone case dy. Unless City do a Liverpool style breakdown. |

Well tbh, i dun like managers sacked mid way thru d season. Hope Mou can pull a string of results after diz.
Like i've said, i think we played well after scoring at 2-1. We dominated, created chances, made attacking changes, took a gamble. But the gamble went against us. Simple as that. At another day on another match, that gamble will win us a game. Its a gamble, it either works or it doesn't. Clearly today's gamble did not worked. QUOTE(yokoloco @ Sep 12 2015, 11:00 PM) last season we were defensively strong, not conceding goals, then pushing to attack. Yea. Last season we can start game wif a bang, score 1 or 2 goals. But this season.... Our engine getting rusty. Can start a game in our highest gear. the problem this season we always put ourselves in the position to be gambling away to chase down goals. and we always get caught on the counter attack. And also, Oscar is missed a lot. Oscar is the type of AMF dat Mou likes. Works hard to win bak d ball high up in d pitch. But diz season Oscar injured. Only can depend on Willian n Fab. |

Well, look at it this way. Mou prefers to work with a small squad. He has mentioned it before and also proven in previous club. He prefers small squad and stick with the same player. Which also proves as the downfall for us. When Iva do not perform, Mou choose to stick with him. If only Mou play Dave on the right and Baba on the left.
We are not like Man City, they have 2 top players for each position, even in the defense. LB: Clichy, Kolarov CB: Kompany, Otamendi CB: Mangala, Demichelis RB: Sagna, Zabaleta For us, upfield yea, we might have 2 players for each position, but in defense, we don't. LB: Baba, Azpi CB: JT, Djilobodji (???) CB: Cahill, Zouma RB: Iva, ?? Yes, one can argue that our back four is flexible, Azpi can play RB. Iva can play CB. But then the depth in defense is too shallow la. If 1 injured and 1 suspended, then we are left 5 defenders to form the defense line. Board shud've spent the cash on Stones. Signings shud have been made fast and furious like last season. For now, Mou can only work with the small squad that he has. if Mou is sacked, I say part of the blame goes to the board for not securing the signings of Stones. Yes, the price is super high. But don't forget, we are signing a homegrown player, we are signing a player that can give us a good 12 years in the future. Due to this Stones saga, we're forced to go with Djilobodji. A cheaper alternative. I can only say our slow transfer in the off season is the catalyst for our downfall. And also Mou's STUBBORN-ness to drop players like Iva. I duno why can Mou be so stubborn. During his time in Real, he is brave enuff to bench Casillas. Why diz time he dun dare to bench Iva? This post has been edited by briantwj: Sep 13 2015, 12:37 PM |
