Homegrown. That's the key word. In PL, any deal involving homegrown players will get price hike. Just look at Shaw (£30 million), Sterling (£44 million), Lukaku (£28 million), Carroll (£35 million).
All never won WC, never won a PL/CL, not world class too. But the homegrown status make their price sky high.

How is Sterling worth 44M and Carroll worth 35M really mindfark me. What has Carroll won? He only had a few good season in Newcastle. Then boom. Dubbed as England's future prospect, Pool came in with 35M.

At this rate, Bamford will be worth at about 60M.Â

Homegrown, proven in Championship. All he needs to do is have a good season in Palace.

Yea i know but still this will kill the development of english players.look at them, foreign club didnt even bother to look at them and english club have to pay a huge amount of money to get them. Do england fa even bother to look at this issue?
Plus, the price are increasing from time to time.last time we bought ashley cole for only 5m fee.now?

. I will not surprise if one day english player for english team base price at 50m (cheapest)

. If that happen,rip england.
