Anyone knows of anyway to get replacement parts?
*
replacement parts > search for cheap assembled kit. Defect, broken parts are fine as long its not the parts you wanted

already done this
its cheaper than buy new whole kit

Sorry can explain what you mean by cheap assembled kit? Normally where can find these?
*
assembled gunpla kit usually sell cheaper than new one
can find either in gundam group or here
do note individual people personally sell this, not shop

actually it very reasonable...the articulation got me crazy about it....for a HG that is...
*
nope, HG Barbatos dont have pretty good articulation
only worth to note is the cheap price, highly detailed and easier to build because of sidegated, undergated and thin runner design

You mean the whole tank link track are pre molded not separate rubber type like HGUC Guntank? If that so I also feel disappointed as well

but if you expecting all wheel can move like MG Guntank thats too much for HG kit

Hi-Resolution Barbatos have screws for joint, oddly metallic finish which is not like injection color mold kit
and no scale revealed

Its like more than action figure than gunpla hmm.gif

It does look greatly different compared to 1/100 barbatos. Something similar to metal build.
If it was MG, it won't have the piston cylinder on the shoulders as those don't seem to exist in the anime.
*
?? anime do have shoulder piston

Gunpla evolved further with new advanced joint inner frame, good for people who dont have time building gunpla

Based on the inner frame it looks like an another RX78, maybe RG 2.0?

edited: it was a concept but who know if they actually do this in 5-10 years later?

There are many means of improvement, but taking out the building aspect is not the way to go when the core aspect is to build.
*
It is a concept, with LED module and Gunpla Battle scanning ala Build Fighters mentioned as features
pretty sure the current gunpla wont be extinct and obsolete because it target certain consumers, fyi most people who build gunpla are straight builders and pretty much dont care with normal gunpla building and prefer simple way like building a LEGO. And they are more towards gunpla collecting than building

still I dont see the fuss with only building only small parts and rely on pre-assembled part.

the inner frame is a nice feature but unless you're painting this kit, it leaves a lot to be desired yawn.gif

I think people no longer wanted the 1/100
since Hi-Resolution Model is way better looking than this haha
