QUOTE(tyrion4 @ Nov 14 2006, 02:31 AM) That's not a very helpful or constructive reply. I'd sure hell like to know if there's a retail alternative as compared to having to forcibly mod the wires yourself and potentially make a big mess of things. No, that's the best answer dude, the only way to do it is by extending the wires... I don't think there's any other way... no? Cut the old wires, in the middle, then find other wires to extend it, make sure u connect the same wires, b'careful not to mix the wires...

QUOTE(tyrion4 @ Nov 14 2006, 02:28 PM) Not exactly sure how your front panel looks like. But... You could just disconnect the audio cord at the front connector and replace it with a longer one such as this (typically comes in 50cm lengths which im sure will have no problems reaching your motherboard). Sorry but i'd rather leave wire-cutting as the last alternative. If you run into problems connecting the two wires (ie two females), just use something like this: The problem is, where could you find that kinda cord? If you're thinking of saying that maybe some forumer do sell it off, think again, not all cases comes with the same connecter, what i mean is, the connecter at the front casing, not the one that is used to connect to the motherboard... If you do know where to find the perfect fit for the front panel connector, please do share it with us...
