omg... this phone is really *speechless* in camera. i could really say i hardly seen anything like that... every shot i take is just good enough to beat those cheapo digicamera away... the nightshot is just as superb.
here is some of my test.. ![]() few tries with nightshot... really must have a tripod. and no such thing as steady hands... nightmode with EV+2 ![]() another night shots. same setting. nightmode with EV +2. ![]() This one i try with nightmode. i dont know why, but i cant take this photo with an normal mode. ![]() the power of macro... as been mentioned, dark... but full of details... All pics are in 5MP size. i didnt resize it coz malas. And the speaker... OMFGBBQSOS... it is veryveryvery loud. I wonder how loud when the alarm went off? hahahaha until this moment, i really like this phone. and best of all, i can use the camera without any simcard in... to be very frank, i dont the UI at all. sluggish and too many steps to go into a folder when using file manager akak gallery. the speed of navigation in the menu somehow similar to old SE UI.
Messaging with T9 aka SmartABC is a pain in the nutshell because the speed of the phone isnt fast enough to recognize the input. If you use t9 for sms in nokia and sony, you will be disappointed. and for the jazz pic, the red/blue/green dot thingy i cant explain. i leave it to photographers to explain... Added on January 17, 2008, 10:31 amdotcom: nope. no image stabilizer. if your hand shake... your pic is gone... especially night mode. normal mode still ok but you will see abit blur when viewing in pc. i know... but i used to good UI. even K850i UI i oso think its slow but acceptable way... heheheheh... as the matter in fact, there is none UI impress me yet. oh yeah there is one - iPhone.
Added on January 17, 2008, 11:25 ami tried taking a picture with lens covered by my palm. and no hot pixel like on jazz pic. i wonder why? This post has been edited by Seaedge: Jan 17 2008, 11:25 AM |

ok... i know.. because that jazz was taken with nightmode. and that shutter time is 4secs. guess that result the hot pixels. let me try another time with night shots.
by the way, the flash tak kuat la... kekekekek... compare with k850i. take in my dark room with flash, result bluish environment. post that pic later... |

thats y i can compare later... hahahaha... you see, my figures all full with colours, ranging RGB, and also the best thing to test out the color rendering out of the camera. actually there is a chart like gsmarena used last time, but mine hilang ady.
viewty memang not xenon, but k850i is. i took some pics using k850i. |

i dont really expect any surprise/miracles from 902 anymore as its nightshots already impressed me.. and by my own hands and eyes... you imagine the awe after you use so many cameraphone struggling to capture nightshots...
i know i know.. every camera has its weakness, apatah cameraphone... This post has been edited by Seaedge: Jan 17 2008, 12:38 PM |

agree with shockk. 902 tends to capture most of the details which some cameraphone doesnt give. and looking at the compression, 902's can be from 1mb to a heavy 2.5mb size. and from k850i, n95, viewty... all didnt exceed 1.8mb size (as far as i have tested). that is why i am amazed with its macro shots and the details it has when normal shots.

lol.. today i play with my camera so much...see what take what... muahahahhahahaha....
avenger: lol.. i throw you later instead of taking picture of breaking glass... viewty can record the process of breaking glass... which i am impressed the ability of it.. but hmmm... video recording 902 is not really good. maybe the sound from the phone speaker sound so loud... become distorted. how sad...
