its something you have to compensate. My guess is everyone is happy with the phone they're using. If you're a vivid MMS user then i have nothing to say, but normally MMS will not handle your big 5mp picture, they will crop or resize down to adequate viewing. You don't want the other party to pay up more, just to receive a big chunk of image. Same goes to sms, along the way you might encounter some important sms and they are relevant for storage but hey, 100 sms is more than enough, one way or another, its for you to do frequent house keeping. I think most of the time you will be using the external memory rather the internal ones.

Overall I-mobile 902 is a good phone for simple daily call to call basic usage with added simple media capabilities. And the advantages of good camera quality packs the punch to the phone. If you're looking for something with state of the art gizmo, my guess is , you need to look for other phones.

Thanks for your comments.

I don't really bother about the MMS actually.. As long as it could automatically resize the pic, it would be OK for me.

But regarding the SMS, I really need to keep them. Anyway, based on the part that I've bold. Do you mean I could use the memory card to store the MMS, like the Nokia phone could do? Is it?

Or is there any other way that I could keep a backup for my SMS before I permanently delete it from the phone?

As for SE phone, I could use a software called MyPhoneExplorer which can export the SMS I've selected to an HTML page. So, I can regularly backup my SMS that way before I delete it from my phone.

Even my k800i which can store 1000 SMSes also not enough lorrr... biggrin.gif Inikan pula 100 SMS.. cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

ermm..

what are disadvantages of this phone?

i've read somewhere which says..

The messaging services on the I-Mobile 902 include your standard SMS together with EMS, MMS and online chat for that all round service. The MMS function will handle a file of up to 300Kb, and the user is able to store up to 100 messages in the 128Mb of RAM available.  The phone book allows up to 500 records, with 5 fields per record - not the largest available, but more than adequate for most.  A useful function allows quick dial using 8 "Hot Keys", and the incoming display has space for both a graphic of the caller, together with name and phone number.
Is that true?? yawn.gif

The sentence highlighted in RED is referring to MMS.
For SMS, it can store more.

Ehe.. I only own N73.
Having hard time to decide either to trade my N73 for N82
Or owned both N73 and i-mobile 902. As i have 2 number as well.
I just need a good macro shot camera as 902.
But at the same time need symbian phone.
N82 can fulfill both but, not really nice pic actually blush.gif
The design also not my taste. sweat.gif sweat.gif

I dun mind with the MP actually..
All i need is a good picture.
If NOKIA or SE got 5MP camera phone that can produce nice pic as 902,
for sure i will choose them. But then... u know what.
This is likely not to happen at least at the moment.
Or else, the price will be like 3 month's salary. Ehe..
They will also not producing perfect phone.. It is Market Strategy you know. rclxm9.gif

The 8MP on I-Mobile 902 is just interpolated from 5MP. smile.gif
