FAQ

What is EA Access?

EA Access is a membership program that lets members play more games for less, only on Xbox One. For just $4.99 a month, binge on a growing collection of more than 10 awesome games in The Vault, play upcoming EA games before they release for a limited time, and get an exclusive 10% discount on all EA digital purchases on Xbox One, including full game purchases, pre-orders, expansion packs, Ultimate Team™ Points, and everything in between. Conditions, limitations, and exclusions apply*.

How do I join EA Access?

Signing up for an EA Access membership is easy: Just head on over to the EA Access page on Xbox.com to get started. You can also join through the free EA Access Hub app on Xbox One. Here’s how:
- Go to the Store tab on the Xbox One home screen and select Apps. Select Search and search for EA Access. Install and launch the EA Access Hub app.
- Launch the EA Access Hub app and link it to your EA Account. If you do not have an EA Account, simply follow the on-screen instructions to complete this step.
- On the next screen, select Sign Up, then choose your membership plan.
- Once you've finished the payment process, you'll be brought back to the buy screen. Press 'B' on your controller to back out of this screen, then select Continue to Home.

Can I purchase an EA Access membership at a physical retail store?

Members who live in the U.S. can purchase an EA Access membership at their local GameStop retail store. Just talk to the clerk at the checkout counter and you’ll be well on your way to becoming a member.

What is The Vault?

The Vault is a growing collection of EA's best games for the Xbox One that you can download and play with an active EA Access membership. Enjoy unlimited time with great EA games, including Battlefield 4™, FIFA 15, Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare, Madden NFL 15, Need for Speed™ Rivals, and more, with more games being added over time.

What are pre-release trials? Will my progress carry over?

With an EA Access membership, you can download and play upcoming EA games before they’re released for a limited time. Because you’re playing the real game, not a demo, any progress you make will carry over, so you can pick up where you left off starting on launch day if you decide to purchase the game.

Will members be able to play every EA game early?

EA Access members get to try upcoming EA releases first.

What is the difference between a demo and an EA Access trial?

Demos are stand-alone chunks of a game meant to give you a taste of what it offers. But with EA Access trials, you're playing the real game for a limited time before its release date. And if you purchase the game once it releases, you can pick up right where you left off – your progress and stats carry over.

Where is EA Access available?

Currently, EA Access is available in 41 countries and territories: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Can I join EA Access without an Xbox Live Gold subscription?

Yes, any Xbox One gamer can join EA Access and take advantage of the benefits of membership without an Xbox Live Gold subscription. In order to connect to multiplayer gameplay on the Xbox One platform, however, you’ll need a subscription to Xbox Live Gold. Learn more about Xbox Live Gold membership here: http://www.xbox.com/live/

How much does EA Access cost?

An EA Access membership is just $4.99 per month. Or, you can save even more with a full year’s subscription: $29.99.

What payment methods can I use to purchase EA Access membership?

At the moment, we can only accept credit card and PayPal payments for EA Access membership.
