Hai guys ..i need some help
I want to play Dota 2 with my friend. However his Internet connection is so slow that it would take him about 2 days to download it and then it will be throttled. I am thinking of transferring the version I downloaded per USB-Drive to his Computer and account. Since this is a free game anyways. Would this work or will there be problems? I hope someone can shared their exp abt this ..thanks

Yes, you can. From your Steam client, right click on Dota and select Backup game files. You have the option to save it in smaller file size or bigger, which will translate into several parts. afterwards, simply copy and paste these files to your friend's pic. finally, from his Steam client, click on Steam menu > Backup and Restore Programs > Restore a previous backup > direct the target folder for the Dota 2 backup files you just copied.
