Yes, they cannot share the reason, it applies to all banks.
You can appeal or try other banks or after 6 months.

so maybe the best way to be successful in getting credit cards, is to have 4-5 outstanding loans...then apply for it.

you may try to:
1) write in an appeal
2) apply your first credit card with the bank where your monthly salary is banked-in

its not my 1st credit card, i've used others over many years. currently I only have ocbc card which is near expiring. Guess I'll either renew with ocbc or apply other banks.
have put in an appeal from uob customer service.

So after calling UOB many times and not getting anywhere.... I dropped complaint to UOB SG giving all my details. Day after that I got 4 calls from UOB MY all different people asking me questions on when I submitted my application etc etc and all sounding extremely unhappy about it - and all of them refuse to answer why my application rejected in the first place. Early last week, I got brief call from a lady who said my application has been approved and will receive my card tthe next day.
So I guess the best job to work is in credit card application, when you feel like it or are having a mood swing or whatever...you can randomly reject an application and fill it in whatever reason which will not be reviewed in detail by your supervisors or upline - ever. Incredible.
