Anyone can share more opinion on UOB Preferred Platinum MasterCard?

I got a call from UOB offering this card with 2 years AF waived.

I know its no harm to keep this card, but whether it worth to have this card in hand, seeing all the promotions on this card until Dec 2015 (stated on 1st page).

Currently card in hand
1. maybank 2 card
2. UOB one classic
3. OCBC titanium
4. Maybank ikwan

I have decided to get the preferred platinum master card to replace my OCBC titanum since it entitle the entry to premium plaza lounge once per month.

I hope you are aware that in order to use this PPL you have to swipe three months continuously of RM 500 every month.

There are other cards which give better options when comes to PPL. For e.g. Aeon Gold, Aeon Big Gold and AmBank Plat.
*
Yes, i have read it, but it stated for new card members, spend RM500 in 60 days after approval also eligible?
But i'm more concern on the promotion 'Valid until 31 December 2015.' meaning I only have 1 entry to premium lounge....unless next year it still offer same promotion.

"All you need to do is spend a minimum of RM500 per month in the past 3 months (for existing Cardmembers) or swipe a minimum RM500 within 60 days of card approval date for first time complimentary access (for new Cardmembers).

Valid until 31 December 2015."

Monthly RM500 is not a problem as I have auto debit like insurance etc. on my current OCBC card, and will transfer to this new card.

Love the 5+2% from uob. The AF is simply too painful. Besides, I'm not a heavy petrol user.

Is it possible to change from platinum to classic card?
*
U can call CS, i think change is not possible, either cancel and apply new one.

The UOB one card is only good for its 5+2% for bhpetrol. Besides that I don't see any advantages of it. I will cancel it if they don't void the AF for next year.
*
Unless you can maximize all the rebate, else only get rebate around RM100 /year (after deduct AF).

Never thought of Ikhwan. Now tempted.
Still available for new applicants? Previously telemarketing called and offered Petronas Ikhwan only.

No harm trying, just go to Maybank2u and at the center of the screen select apply online.

Guys, have some question bout the rebet, payment method.
I want to buy a gift for my wife.my cycle count on 24th every month.the question is i want to buy on 18th this mth.
A)do i get rebet for 0.2%?
B)do i entitle of 0%int if pay b4 20day after purchase?
C)what method payment i need to do when i want to pay as i remember there r 2 choice at the machine.

Anyone can help me.
*
I assume your card is UOB ONE

A) Yes, you will get 0.2% rebate and will appear in your statement for NOV.
B) There will be no interest charge if you make full payment before the payment due date stated in your statement.
C) You can use online banking like maybank2u to make credit card payment, it is like transfer money to your credit card account. Or you can use cash deposit machine, select credit card menu and need enter your credit card number (same method as doing cash deposit to your saving account). But my advise is try to avoid being too long at the cash deposit machine as it is quite unsafe if there are not many people around, especially at night.

have a question here... PBB visa signature having 6% rebate on groceries, dining and online transaction.. is it sound way better than VOX?
*
Yes you are right, but the requirement for PB VS is RM100k yearly, meaning gaji need at least RM8333.33/month to qualify.....else who don't want to have this one of the best credit card.

UOB ONE classic cap RM 300 per month for petrol,if over RM 300 no rebate.
Per month mean per monthly statement, I have check my statement, rebate is calculated based on statement usage.
