Was considering to upgrade my UOB One card to UOB One Platinum. Any idea if upgrading of such will maintain the original credit card number of my UOB one card to the new UOB One Platinum? Coz I got my insurance plan tied to the existing UOB One card. Many Thanks.

QUOTE(Reapies @ Nov 4 2015, 08:02 AM) Just saw that my UOB One card was charged annual fee of RM68 despite fulfilling all the swiping requirements. Based on my experiences back in June 2015, if not mistaken, now their AF waiver is based on how much you spent for the year, of which I was offered a 50% AF waiver. Hence, I requested to proceed with the cancelation and few days after that, their retention team called me to offer 3 year AF waiver for my UOB One card. Guess they are kinda desperate to maintain cardholder I guess.Called CS and they said that since this card offers cash rebates, there will be no more annual fee waiver from now on. If card has UniRinggit points, can use that to waive the AF. Threatened to cancel the card, the CS said he will refer to higher management and since I have no late payment record, I should check my online statement to see if the AF has been waived. Wasted 10 mins on a phone call on such a kiam siap bank >:( |
