just found out about this good card today, very tempt to apply today to supplement my cimb cr plat & hl wise card, already maxed.
but got few questions hopefully sifu here can help answer

1. where is the monthly fee listed? couldnt find in VOX tnc, to waived the monthly fee can swipe any amount or min rm50?
let say i spend in a month only rm127 x 5% CashBack = rm6.35, will it be offset the monthly fee?

2. the CB capped rm50/month right? initially thought capped rm1000 month till i read the tnc it's rm1000 x 5%

3. listing above is only verified/tested CB place right? basically any online spend entitle for 5% local n int?

4. Listed utilities is excluded from CB but also listed and reading others comment, can get CB from online utlities payment? for all utilities i.e unifi, tnb, syabas, municipal, iwk? currently i pay my tnb, syabas at uobpayonline and unifi at m2u amex

5. lastly any promotional gift can get if apply now? see on the website nothing hehe

I own this card. Every month you need to swipe at least once to waive the monthly fee. Pretty easy, doesn't need to be online transaction, can just pump petrol rm0.01 lol. Take note it's not calendar month but "statement month", which is your monthly statement balance date to next statement balance date.

UOB called me up and offer me to sign up preferred platinum, she said I can get 5% weekend dining and groceries cashback, also 1x monthly access to airport boarding lounge annually. I accepted, then after googling only I realised the weekend dining and groceries cashback is just a campaign, with some spending tnc and ending this year. Also the airport lounge needs a certain spending prior to enjoy the free access. So what's special with this card?

Guys, in order to get 5% rebate by reloading tng at bhp, do we need to make sure that the station Is using uob cc terminal? or any station will do as long as it can reload tng with cc?

any terminal and any petrol station also can get 5% if you reload on weekends. but if you reload at bhp using uob cc terminal, you will get additional 2% on top of the 5%.

ohh yea forgotten di, so to maximise it better get a uob cc terminal.

Just wondering, UOB One gives 0.2% for all "others" spending while Vox's giving 0.3% for all retail. So "retail" doesn't include dining? I'm thinking whether if I should pay with Vox rather than One card when my Amex is not available.

Retail also includes dining. smile.gif
Apply for MACH for dining which I have never failed to get back my cash back every month for dining.
My VOX is only online transactions unless there are special promos if use UOB cards.

Wow I didn't came across to this card. A little googling shows it's quite attractive, first year AF waived and require low annual income. Any hidden catches? hmm.gif

hi just want to ask regarding vox's rm6 administrative fee. it seems that i've been charged rm6 despite having used the card for that particular statement. just want to confirm if i will be charged first, then subsequently rebated?
*
No it shall not be charged at all if you've spent once. But last time I called the CS they confirmed that it is by calendar month basis, not by statement month. I suggest you to verify with them.

i see. just called the CS. there's an error in my statement it seems. they will proceed to waive the charges. and according to the CS, we need to spend at least once within the statement month and is based on posting date, not transaction date.
*
Sigh good for you. I kena this administration charge 2 times already. First time I called they said statement month, second time they said calendar month, end up no waive also.

which card are you holding? visa or master? they will only replace preferred platinum visa to privi miles visa.
*
Huh preferred platinum will be replaced by PRVI Miles?

I thought the PRVI miles is higher class a bit since the min annual income is 60k compared to 48k of preferred platinum.

so maybe the best way to be successful in getting credit cards, is to have 4-5 outstanding loans...then apply for it.
