U can always pay in advance for 2 or 300 hundreds b4 the bill arrives.

Awaiting my PRVI & One card application... the agent said might take up to 3 weeks as they are clearing the backlog from Raya....

But it is quite difficult for her to do this every month. Her TNB bills will have negative balance every time and she might not need to pay again for 1 whole year

Hi I realized when I signed in my UOB online account to check my card, I always get "Service not available" after the part where I have to key in the pin after clicking the card number.

In short,
1) Log in uob online account.
2) Click banking
3) Click credit card account
4) Click account number
5) Receive sms for TAC and key in TAC
6) Service not avaliable.

Why?

Guys, for Preferred Platinum card, current promotion is weekend dining/groceries 5%..do pharmacy included in groceries?

Previously thought Preferred Platinum got a bit useful when got the 5% cash back..but it require to use RM300 and above only entitle for the cash back..feel it pretty useless..guess will be cancel it soon..

The only UOB card that provides zero annual fees would be UOB VOX with 1 swipe per month.

as i extracted from the latest T&Cs, no cap on monthly payout for the petrol. no one knows WHEN uob gonna revise the T&Cs again by including the max monthly payout.

Syabas Will Not Accept Auto-Billing Payment Via Credit Cards

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 (Bernama) -- Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS) will no longer accept payment for water bills by auto-billing via five credit card banking agents from Sept 1.

"The five banking agents are CIMB Bank Berhad, UOB Bank, Citibank, Maybank Berhad and RHB Bank Berhad," SYABAS Corporate Affairs Division executive director Priscilla Alfred said in a statement here today.

However, she said the consumers concerned could still pay the water bills by cash or cheques via various channels.

They include SYABAS' One Stop Counter Service Centres (OSCS) for the districts of Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Gombak, Klang, Hulu Langat, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Sepang.

Operating hours for the OSCS are from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

In addition, Priscilla said, payments may also be made to official collection agencies such as HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad, Public Bank Berhad, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, POS Malaysia Berhad, Mobile Money and Paylink Global.

Priscilla advised consumers to pay their bills on time to avoid cutting of water supply.

Just to point out that the petrol rebate is based NOT based your total spending, instead it is based on the capped rebate. For example, if max rebate is RM25, you may spend all RM500 on weekend or all RM1250 on weekday. I lost a little rebate because I stopped spending after reaching the spend limit.

No, that's not how it works,  It is capped based on total spending, not rebate.  .  There are some discussions and examples on this, refer to page 119 of V3.

From the T&C (1c), there is no mention of rebate cap, only spending cap is mentioned.

c. For the rebate category of petrol, the maximum Cash Rebate awarded for purchases made by the principal and supplementary Cardmembers shall be capped at RM500 for UOB ONE Platinum Card and RM300 for UOB ONE Classic Card per month.

Lol after applied VOX and no response from UOB for 3 weeks, I decided to call them and guess what, my application is still pending because it is incomplete, require utility bill to verify address.

If UOB VOX card can provide 5% cashback for the following situation, it shall be a good replacement for Maybank 2 Card Amex, for paying the bill.

- pay TMNet Streamyx bill in TM online portal.
- pay Maxis bill in Maxis Online portal
- pay electricity bill in UOB Payonline, or other online payment.

Hopefully, these are someone here who has verified that cashback will be given for the situations.

Hopefully it's cover as per T&C.... and is good if someone can confirm below as well
