I'm also waiting for mine. Too bad TNB is not accepted... Have to think of a way, else just gotta stick to GE Plat which gives 1% or AmEx for 5xTP.
The problem with my TNB is the bill only comes every 1 1/2 months, so Wise is not really a good idea for me. hmm.gif

Hi I realized when I signed in my UOB online account to check my card, I always get "Service not available" after the part where I have to key in the pin after clicking the card number.

In short,
1) Log in uob online account.
2) Click banking
3) Click credit card account
4) Click account number
5) Receive sms for TAC and key in TAC
6) Service not avaliable.

Why?

I face the same problem few years ago. Call CS to sort it out. If not mistaken , need to go to nearest branch after that also. Just give a call to CS first

Minimum RM300, maximum RM500 because max cash back is RM25. I am a loyal preferred platinum card user. I used it for many years as it is my first and primary card. Kinda lazy to change to other card. But , you are right, although I spend a lot on the card, I found the cash back is ridiculous as well.

The only UOB card that provides zero annual fees would be UOB VOX with 1 swipe per month.

Call CS to ask for waiver.

If not approved, then ask for cancellation. They'll route your case to retention them. If they want you to stay, they'll offer you retention which usually comes with waiver.

Good luck ...

previously there was for a short while, but now they've revised it to 5% for weekends and 2% for weekdays.

no mention of the 900k limit anymore so its been removed.

as i extracted from the latest T&Cs, no cap on monthly payout for the petrol. no one knows WHEN uob gonna revise the T&Cs again by including the max monthly payout.
compared to previous T&Cs, the max monthly payout was stated clearly:

there WAS rm900k cashback petrol cap biggrin.gif as long as current T&Cs doesnt state monthly cap, safe to assume no cap enforced.

as mentioned by victorywp, new T&Cs took effect as of 1st June 2015 lor.

read the old T&Cs, UOB hide behind the clause "no obligation to inform customers if monthly rm900k payout has reached maximum".

Just to point out that the petrol rebate is based NOT based your total spending, instead it is based on the capped rebate. For example, if max rebate is RM25, you may spend all RM500 on weekend or all RM1250 on weekday. I lost a little rebate because I stopped spending after reaching the spend limit.

Syabas Will Not Accept Auto-Billing Payment Via Credit Cards

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 (Bernama) -- Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS) will no longer accept payment for water bills by auto-billing via five credit card banking agents from Sept 1.

"The five banking agents are CIMB Bank Berhad, UOB Bank, Citibank, Maybank Berhad and RHB Bank Berhad," SYABAS Corporate Affairs Division executive director Priscilla Alfred said in a statement here today.

However, she said the consumers concerned could still pay the water bills by cash or cheques via various channels.

They include SYABAS' One Stop Counter Service Centres (OSCS) for the districts of Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Gombak, Klang, Hulu Langat, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Sepang.

Operating hours for the OSCS are from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

In addition, Priscilla said, payments may also be made to official collection agencies such as HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad, Public Bank Berhad, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, POS Malaysia Berhad, Mobile Money and Paylink Global.

Priscilla advised consumers to pay their bills on time to avoid cutting of water supply.

No, that's not how it works, It is capped based on total spending, not rebate. . There are some discussions and examples on this, refer to page 119 of V3.

https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=75572806

From the T&C (1c), there is no mention of rebate cap, only spending cap is mentioned.

c. For the rebate category of petrol, the maximum Cash Rebate awarded for purchases made by the principal and supplementary Cardmembers shall be capped at RM500 for UOB ONE Platinum Card and RM300 for UOB ONE Classic Card per month.

Lol..no offense, but I just said that I lost some rebate due to this. I spent RM306 in July (RM291 in weekends, RM15 in weekdays), rebate is RM14.85. I still have RM0.15 rebate left to collect. The orange colour is for weekend transactions.

Anyway victorywp I just realized that the reload I did back in BHP Taiping Simpang, they did not charge me RM1 service charge, reloaded RM99.47 with RM100 swiped to card. thumbup.gif And no I didn't pay the RM1 by cash either.

Which is why I am not too bothered about this card at all.

I applied 2 times, both times application went AWOL.

Same goes with my gf.

I think if this time the agent don't want to follow up properly, I also don't bother already laugh.gif

I just want the CB for petrol but since I am actually having an Ikhwan already, not really bothered + no constraints on where to pump at all.

Finally got news from UOB.

Apparently, they think I am holding too much cards and unwilling to approve despite me cancelling off few of the lesser used cards d.

They said it's not reflected in database that I cancelled some of my cards already despite having termination letters from the bank laugh.gif

Ah well. Guess CIMB is indeed hinting me to stay on laugh.gif

I'm also waiting for mine. Too bad TNB is not accepted... Have to think of a way, else just gotta stick to GE Plat which gives 1% or AmEx for 5xTP.
The problem with my TNB is the bill only comes every 1 1/2 months, so Wise is not really a good idea for me. hmm.gif
*
@fruitie , may i know what do you means that TNB is not accepted? Paying TNB through UOB pay using VOX card do not entitle for any cash back?

Thanks for your reply, bananalow.

If UOB VOX card can provide 5% cashback for the following situation, it shall be a good replacement for Maybank 2 Card Amex, for paying the bill.

- pay TMNet Streamyx bill in TM online portal.
- pay Maxis bill in Maxis Online portal
- pay electricity bill in UOB Payonline, or other online payment portal.

Hopefully, these are someone here who has verified that cashback will be given for the situations.

I think I misunderstood it earlier.

Enjoy 5% cash rebate
On all your online purchases.
*For online spend of up to RM1,000 per month. Cash rebates will be credited into your VOX card account by the 30th of the following month and excludes insurance, government utilities & bill payments only.

I assumed government utilities are the utilities bills. laugh.gif
Anyway, I think I read before in the previous version of thread that TNB is not covered. wink.gif

How does one get the annual fee waived, if possible?

I'm holding the UOB One Plat and Uob Preferred Plat.

Thanks!

Can threaten to cancel it. And wait for retention department to call you back. But that is not guarantee. Because they might just cancelled off your card as they have influx of new customer

Done. On second thought, I better nuke those posts.

I will not allow any posts that "support" any illegal or unethical action.

Ramjade, take this as verbal warning for now. Don't go around and suggest others to do it.

Have a nice day, all.

Ok. Noted. I won't go posting that. Well you asked me what will happen if I have a credit card. Well I will tell you. Maximise CB from banks. Eg, don't spend more than the CB limit. If exceed, change to another card. If don't exceed, just continue to use it. AKA banks will make a loss if I am their customer. They will not get a single sen from me. I will pay everything on time.

But sad that it is considered a verbal warning. cry.gif

As long as u use the bank's card. The bank earn their income thru the merchant fees charge to the seller. Seller in return mark all this cost into their selling price.

Yes, but tesco will only get back may be 97 or up to 99.XX from bank / visa / mastercard / american express.

Bank will earn up to RM3 or RM5 from that tx.

you pay/charged for the displayed selling price and GST. nothing else.

the merchant fee is between merchant <-> banks. transparent to customers.

Caused you mentioned about tesco won't receive the full RM100 and banks earn RM3-5. SO I thought Tesco will charge us RM3-5 extra so that they will get the full RM100.

If that is the case (tesco gets like rm9x.xx), I willing to give the bank free money. What I meant is I am not willing to give the bank extra money because of paying late, using the card > than CB limit and paying AF.

My agent just called me again. She said in her system still shows "in process". sweat.gif

Then I told her I have called UOB CS and she said it's unsuccessful since 3rd August. I asked her to reconfirm for me again on the actual status. My agent said will check with her manager. laugh.gif

Go CIMB CR Plat lo.

1 hour terus approve.

Almost the same benefit as VOX + no AF so no need to purposely use the card.

And, CB from Primary / Supplementary cardholders are separate, so you can gain more once you maxed out your main card ( providing you have a supp card laugh.gif )

UOB now arrogant already, since a lot of M2C defecting to their bank.

If you are a good paymaster, banks will actually keep your card on freeze 1st.

When you make an application to reapply within a short period of time or they suddenly run outta good paymasters, they'll contact you for reinstatement.

What I meant was maybe the bank did not fully terminate the card, instead they just block/deactivate the card, if the card holder decided to reinstate the card, they will reactivate it back without going through the application process. Happened to me with HLB Mach credit card when I cancelled it, HLB sent me a letter stating that should I wish to reinstate the card, they will happily do it for me. At the end I called them to fully terminate it, and after 1 year I reapply again for the sake of free card and dining cashback tongue.gif

My agent called me again just now while I was in LRT, she told me she has checked with her manager and my application is not rejected. It is still in process.

She will update me the status again tomorrow.

I use vox card to pay for my xiaomi purchase online (paypal) and it is not rebate by the card. Purchase > RM 100 huh.gif so now i am still wondering how vox works. As far as i know, no rebate on online utility bill and insurance. amazon, ebay, lelong, lazada those suppose to have rebate right ?

And about UOB one card AF, they will charge you when it is almost a year or they will just charge you randomly in any month of the year ?

You can actually just call in to set. I remember this well because i made a complaint when my first request via the form was missing. I complained to bnm and then the HQ said actually just call in will do.

Hi guys,

Is it true that using VOX to pay UNIFI through its own portal will get the 5% cash back?

Anyone can confirm on this?

Hi guys

I got my complimentary UOB Preferred Platinum which the agent say is part of the package when I signed up for my UOB ONE.

The question is this, if I didn't activate my Preferred Platinum and just let it be, is it okay?

Or do I have to call to cancel?

Thanks.

no such thing as complimentary card, you have been tricked. get it terminated since you already agree to it when you sign up.

sorry can't remember..i think around 20th+/- July but I got both my card last weeks
about 1 1/2 weeks to get approved....normally it only takes a few days but the agent provide the wrong detail to them so it take longer (i call them then they told me about this)

only you activate the ards then only appear to your uob online banking

Thanks. Weird, no direct link from the main website.

The only thing that is worthwhile is:

QUOTE
5% Cash Back on Weekend Dining & Groceries
Step 1:  Register via SMS. Type UOB1<space>16-digit UOB PRVI Miles Card number and send to 66300.
Step 2:  Spend a minimum of RM300 in dining and/groceries per month to get the 5% cash back.
The maximum cash back for each participating month: RM40 per month per customer.
Total of RM25,000 cash back to be given away for each participating month on a first-come,first-served basis.
but it is not a permanent feature as need to register.
QUOTE
The Campaign period is from 4 July 2015 to 27 December 2015 (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”), unless otherwise notified

0% INTEREST EDUCATION INSTALLMENT PLAN <-- this is good

Nice card design though.

Final verdict: A weak card. Will only apply for free gifts.

I don't mind to try out too but my card is still in application and has the tendency to be rejected as I hold quite a number of cards. laugh.gif

Wish me luck as my UniFi is RM 219 per month, takes up quite a lot of my monthly expenses.

Victorywp, I think you should update the first page on the preferred platinum card uniringgit section.
The latest are 3x uniringgit for retail household, automobile services, and oversea transaction. I think the condition changed one year ago

Just want to confirm about this for UOB Vox...

"5% Cash Rebate on all online purchases with a minimum spend of RM50 in a single receipt/transaction"

Why I can't find the info about min spend of RM50 to get 5% cash back at RinggitPlus and UOB Vox website page? So it's no longer have the min spend condition?

Edit: Opps... Finally found the term and condition. Ignore me please... biggrin.gif

Yeah unable to retrieve bill details at the moment. I just realized that there are 2 websites here: tm.com.my and mytm.tm.com.my, although both have the same interface.

I just emailed my agent and 10 minutes after that she called me back, saying she just checked from the system it is still showing in process. sweat.gif

She has informed her manager to follow up with the processing team but cannot promise me the exact date that I will get the latest status.

That aside, her follow-up is excellent.

I hope so lol. I got a credit increase offer, its "exclusive for you" with "win a ...".

I hope so, I guess got it coz I usually resolve all my CC spendings fully for the month. I use it mostly for petrol lol. Too bad now gotta fill up weekends for the 5 % rebate instead of 2 %. Better than other cards anyways.

Pay all spending and left no outstanding balance every month not consider good customer for bank..with outstanding balance bank charge for interest and SOMETIMES clear all outstanding balance consider good customer because the bank earn interest from you..if every month bank earn nothing from you and still want to pay cash rebate and points to you..its consider money-losing business wink.gif

good question about autodebit biggrin.gif

if autodebit eligible, autodebit gives you +RM2, then 5% cashback from Vox. thumbup.gif

If you don't use up RM 30 for online, it'll be RM 50 for groceries/petrol/utilities.

If you have better cards for these categories, you should be diverting them to those cards.

For groceries & petrol, I'll use MBB Ikhwan MC.

My story as below:

- Apply via agent on booth outside of office @ 24/7/2015, been told UOB will call me by next week
- Waited until Friday @ 31/7/2015, no call, decided to call UOB, been told no application received, asked them to cancel as I am pissed with this kind of agent.
- At the same day apply via Ringgitplus, received email that UOB will call in 2 business days.
- UOB called @ Tuesday 4/8/2015, submit my documents via email, been told they need up to 7 business days.
- Called on Yesterday 12/8/2015, found out it is approved on Monday as I told on my previous post.

Uob practised to consolidate and send 1 statement for all credit card

This is same as maybank. But, maybank will split the conventional credit card in 1 statement and islamic credit card in another statement

Wan clarify with all sifu at here.

I am holding classic one card now and I know this card got a capped RM 300 for petrol
So i got 2 scenario as below:-

Scenario 1
1st weekday spend RM 300 on petrol
1st weekend spend RM 300 on petrol
so the rebate will be 2% (RM 6) or 5% (RM 15)?

Scenario 2
1st weekday spend RM 100 on petrol
1st weekend Spend RM 300 on petrol
So the rebate will be (A) RM 100 x 2% + RM 200 x 5% or (B) RM 300 x 5%?

Thank you

You sure scenario 1 is 5%, I would think is first come first serve which is 2% only (RM6)

You are contradicting your statement with Scenario 1 and 2 also if so.

as per tested/informed/confirmed by kelvinlzy, it is based on max cashback not total spend. which means for your classic one card, you may pump up to rm750 to get rm15 on weekdays or rm300 to get rm15 on weekends or in between rm300-rm750 if you pump on both weekdays and weekends.

As per UOB CSO quoted tnc, TNB is not entitle which i believe syabas and MBSA also as both consider as utilities.
Not sure about TM (Unifi portal) and Maxis, might need to test it out.

Oh.. It means the bank really plan to replace preferred platinum card with PRIV. But the benefit is the same. Don't have high hope. My main cc is preferred platinum , so I know it very well. The best is they will try their best to charge u AF after one year. Every year I need to argue and fight with CS to get it off set.

Should I take it?

If you plan to use it, then you should take. Or they give you free gift upon application, then you can take it. Bear in mind the ppl access is RM 500 spending per month for past 3 month. Otherwise, to be honest , no much benefit from preferred

Oh.. It means the bank really plan to replace preferred platinum card with PRIV. But the benefit is the same. Don't have high hope. My main cc is preferred platinum , so I know it very well. The best is they will try their best to charge u AF after one year. Every year I need to argue and fight with CS to get it off set.

that is not true. my fren just received an additional preferred platinum card.
not sure is due to bank/ agent ?

If we dun want to use that preferred plat, we dun activate it then is OK? Or it will automatically activate?

Same questions being asked so many times in this thread. Why not you read back the above thread? Lots of people are asking the same question because preferred platinum like a bonus card , given free to everyone who applied other uob cc.

Not sure about TM (Unifi portal) and Maxis, might need to test it out.

until users here test it out UOB VOX, which most likely for us to know the results next month, TM(unifi/streamyx) still not confirmed for the 5% cash back right? icon_question.gif

This is what happen when people think it is okay for banks to send cards without being applied. Some choose to disregard and just not to activate. Some choose to terminate. The tidak apa attitude and this is exactly what is happening. The banks or rather agents will be keep doing it.

For goodness sake, send an email to Bank Negara. Here is a template:

Last weekend I signed up the credit card at Pxrxdxgm Mall with a SA, all I wanted was only the One Card, but she ticked 4 cards for me, while she was ticking, she told me that no matter how, UOB will be giving the other 3 cards to me as my income is eligible for them. She didn't let me have a chance to stop her!

I feel like I had been cheated. The cards include PRVI Miles & Preferred Platinum. I found those cards are really redundant! I don't understand why UOB always want to give multiple cards when we apply (I used to be UOB credit card holder, long time ago).

Since my application form was ticked to apply 4 cards, I can't complain to BNM right? vmad.gif

I should stop my application that day!!

After reading that you are aware that the agent ticked 4 cards and yet you fail to stop here, to be frank with you, you are partly at fault here.

Anyway, complain directly to Bank Negara and state clearly what the agent told you and describe how the agent stopped you from stopping her. Need to teach her a lesson. At the same time, you need to learn on how to say no.

Well said, Human Nature!

Forcing you to take up credit cards that you don't want is as good as forcing to take up a loan that you didn't want to apply for.

The agents are eager to meet their monthly sales quota by putting up fake 'bank enforcement rules'.

By the way, wanna check that is the late payment charge will be imposed on unbilled transaction or when statement out?

Recently I noticed that I have paid less RM0.10 doh.gif after 10 days passed, only paid off another RM0.10

Due date - 1 Aug
Payment made for RM0.10 on 10th Aug

Home address  doh.gif

But luckily is not as per IC hometown address haha

By the way, wanna check that is the late payment charge will be imposed on unbilled transaction or when statement out?

Recently I noticed that I have paid less RM0.10  doh.gif  after 10 days passed, only paid off another RM0.10

Due date - 1 Aug
Payment made for RM0.10 on 10th Aug

So far, I didn't see any late charge on my unbill transaction

I have never encountered though but I heard it is in the next statement.

I agree about advice to lodge complaint against agents who manipulated against consumers wish. This is to protect consumers and also the decent agents who are working hard to earn their commission in an honest manner. I have blacklisted some agents and informed my friends too because they applied wrong cards for me. Ineffective = no commission (I canceled cards before activation)

Not the case for me. I still remembered that last time when i applied for One card, the staff told me that it would come with prefered plat if u are eligible for it. I said no, if like that i want to cancel the application. Then she said if u only need One card, i can remark on the application form. Then she just cross out all the other cards option and write down only for One card blah blah blah. They can do it for just one application but depends on the staff. Maybe my agent is directly from uob card department.

cancelling the card before active is different from lodging a complaint. the agent will only lose the commission but not reprimanded.

Beside complaint to bank... Dun activate and cancel the card once u get it so that agent won't get a Sen from it... Teach them a lesson also... =)

Yeah, I only realized that I should have said NO after that, coz I had UOB cards before, also received 1 extra card after applying. So I believed what she said that UOB likes to give extra card even though she didn't tick! Sigh... learnt a lesson here, thanks for all sifu's comments!!

It's a temporary thing to attract people, no doubt.

Have a feeling it's gonna be gone after they got a certain number of new sign ups.

Finally my VOX card arrived in my mailbox today. Went to pay Astro and TM bills worth RM50 each and called CS to ask about the CB, twice.

First CS, "Astro is entitled, TM is not".

Second CS, "Both are bill payments, so not entitled".

Prior to this, I have reported that there is another CS told me TM is entitled for 5%. I am too lazy to argue with them, just wait for my statement on 3rd Sept then.

UOB VOX 5% online is applicable for minimum rm50 spend

If your purchase is rm49.90, you still can use cimb cr to earn that 5%

Few weeks ago, I just signed up One Card at 1U. The lady said you have to sign up for One & VOX to entitle for the luggage bag, and then during the application she said give me free entrance for the airport lounge which I just realised it is another Mastercard. I actually just need One Card for the weekend petrol rebate.
Can I dont activate the VOX and Mastercard? Will I be charge for any fees even I dont activate them?

Another case... If you don't want, why accepted it at the first place? That said, the VOX is pretty good for online transactions. The so-called free PPL accesses card is kind of useless compared to other banks.

Well, give them a benefit of doubt, they might not study well on their products before selling. Only see free PPL access but didn't check the TnC attached to it.

Hmm... actually is true also, there is FREE entrance but come with T&C apply only.

Just that, the sales person mentioned half of it, as for customer who apply it, need to make sure whether come with some T&C or not and ask for it, in the same time if the sales person said "No" then only can determine this is lying.

They are trying to use the communication tactics to attract more sales.

Example: HSBC sales person, promoting HSBC card with 8% cash back

According to the victim, she is not aware that it is a credit card product and i assumed she is not being told so too. This alone is a violation. Anyway, I am putting a large blame on the victim too.

That means it has dropped. When I converted mine it was still 60k per annum. smile.gif
OCBC required me to resubmit my payslip again to prove that I have 60k and above.

Definitely not 12 swipes. I was uob one holder for few years. It depends on the CS. I swipe at least 120 swipes in a year but they charge me AF!

Sorry if this question had been asked before.

For the petrol cashback 5% during weekends, applicable to payment at the petrol station counter? Or must swipe at the cc machine at the petrol pump? Tq

Yeah. But I guess if it is less than 1.25%, I will stick to AmEx then.

Watami, I cannot achieve.

VOX no hope to pay. Myeg no longer accepts payment for TNB. Other channels already confirmed no rebate if pay TNB.

Waiting for my VOX card too.

Intended to use it for Maxis, Astro and TNB payment but just found out TNB payments won't get rebates.

Then I wanted to put TNB bills to SI with CIMB CB card for 2%. And now some reported say cannot do SI for TNB? cry.gif

Don't worry, I'll announce to the whole world here that once UniFi is accepted. tongue.gif
However, it could be a month later. Have to wait for rebate and card delivery, they need to resend my card again as it is sent to my hometown. sweat.gif
Though I have overpaid to UniFi because of AmEx no longer gives 5% rebate for other transactions (besides dining), I will try for VOX. sweat.gif

Halo newbie here,

Need sifus guidance on how best to utilize UOB VOX online 5% rebate. Below are some example that I can think off:

1. Book hotel thru Agoda?
2. Reload Starbucks card online?
3. Purchase meal voucher from Groupon?
4. ???

Feel free to advise. Many Thanks. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

I already have existing UOB One card, so the CS girl say she will email me the form and I just fill up and email it back to her later to get my card. Now patiently waiting for her email. tongue.gif

I'm checking out HL Wise. Seems can get rebate for TNB if make payment thru Payonline. Checking out what are the cons of the card now and whether I can make 10x a month or not and whether the annual fees are worth it or not.

My card approved on 14th Aug within the same week of application. Actually is my 2nd application, the first got pending cause of different billing address (address not match with IC, cause baru pindah). So I just decide to apply new use old address, luckily it approved faster.

But now got problem they send the card to my office = = while i already told them to collect at branch. The CS help me to replace new card to branch, mark it as urgent, soonest is tomorrow or friday.

At first my agent also insisted me to collect from the nearest branch, I told her if possible I really want to avoid that. She then told me will check with her manager and call me back.
Then, she called me back and told me it is possible to go for postage... Yet, it is nowhere to be seen now. sweat.gif

They told me they also poslaju-ed the CC from KL to bentong branch what. Why cant they just poslaju to my house address? Maybe they fear that it might get lost.

If your CC has been posted out, sure they will update you with the tacking number right...

They said I can check the status again tomorrow. doh.gif
I already asked my sister to go and check it out. If normal post, keep for me first. If it is Poslaju, give me the tracking no. Depend on these CS, I think I better depend on myself. laugh.gif

*
HL Wise is tempting me to drop UOB one card soon but worry might get rejected ><

Yes you may email to uobcustomerservice@uob.com.my.

For my case, CS said my Vox card is already set to RM1 because my One card already did so. According to her, it is per account and not per card.

Hmm..quite weird. hmm.gif

But honestly, Vox card is meant for online transactions where you will need to request for the TAC, so theoretically you won't receive any SMS transaction alert anymore, is it right? However if my memory doesn't fail me, I think there are some websites that don't require TAC and you can straight away proceed with the transactions, especially like those in fraud cases.

I suspect she never fax it at all

Background story, when I informed that I want to set the SMS limit, she asked for my IC to be photocopied which I refused to do so. So she seemed annoyed and just handed the form to me to fill in and said, don't blame her if my request is not approved because no IC copy.

So after I filled the form and pass to her to fax, she went inside a room and then later said faxed dy. When I eventually did not receive any SMS, I emailed to BNM describing the event. I asked why need to give IC. I also add why need to go to branch for this (CS told me to do so).

HQ called to apologize and said actually no need go to branch and no IC is needed. Later the bank staff also contacted me to apologize. Nowadays when she sees me in the bank, avoid eye contact dy.

I'm wondering is the Preferred Platinum good?

And also, is it possible to disable the TAC request when I just to check unbilled transaction? It's kinda annoying when I just to check my transaction history.

Well, I just got to know there is another promotion for this. Max cash back is RM 40 only. sweat.gif
Besides, if you want to go to PPL, there is another ridiculous spending criteria.
"All you need to do is spend a minimum of RM500 per month in the past 3 months (for existing Cardmembers) or swipe a minimum RM500 within 60 days of card approval date for first time complimentary access (for new Cardmembers)."

Did anyone receive it and what is it all about?

Talking about PRIV Miles, these two days there is a temporary booth in the corridor at KL Sentral. Precisely in front of Sooka Sentral. No free gift or anything and the agents will not approach for sales. Well, at least I wasn't approached by them. Maybe I'm too poor to own their so-called PRIV Miles card.

I could see their bunting is about PRIV Miles, didn't check it out though because I'm not interested with it.

I will only use it to pay my UniFi bills.

Moreover, it doesn't require online spend. Swipe any amount to avoid RM 6 monthly charges. In order to qualify for cash rebate, one must spend RM 50 online spending. smile.gif

This is a question which everyone is anticipating for. I'm afraid that we can only confirm about this on 30th Sept when the rebate is posted. We have just moved on to VOX after Maybank revised its MBB2Cards' weekend cash back
Previously, there was someone reported that paying Streamyx from MyTM is entitled for 5% cash rebate so it should work if you pay UniFi from that channel.
