These BHPetrols are really cunning. I pumped a total of RM156.68 of petrol at BHP.
I only got smart$ = Rm1.12 and cashback = RM 7.83. I can conclude that some of the terminals at the dispensers or at the counters, they did not use UOB terminals, thus I did not get the full smart$ rebate. Average out my petrol cashback is at 5.71% instead of a full 7% (5+2). |

QUOTE(darkterror15 @ Sep 4 2015, 01:28 PM) For smartrebate on bhp, if the petrol station machine can take credit card, u will directly get the 2% (not shown in the receipt). If the petrol station machine does not take credit card, you have to go counter and let them swipe. But once they swipe, you will get a receipt that state the smart rebate you get. So, to be safe, always go to the counter and check the smart rebate. Ya its safer to swipe the CC at the counter, and have to also make sure they use UOB terminal. On the other hand, swipe in the counter will charge your card directly but use in petrol machine will charge you after 2 days. So lets say this month your CR already use up, you can use the petrol machine to delay 2 days of the charge and bring to the next month statement if it is close to the statement date. Cheers Petrol machine delay 2 days? You mean the Posting date? I thought they calculate the cash back via Transaction date but not Posting date? |

QUOTE(tenchi0205 @ Sep 7 2015, 09:41 AM) Regarding the sms alert, need to fill in the form send by mail/fax/email or call the CS will do? You can also submit via branch or fax. So far I know u can't email the form.Any limit? RM1 also can? Goto UOB main website, on the right, there is a panel for u to download application forms. Search for SMS alert notification form. Download and print it out. Read it. Can either fax or or goto the nearest UOB branch. I faxed it 1 week + ago, they seems haven't process mine yet. Darn slow. *sorry typing mistake QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 7 2015, 09:43 AM) I heard need to walk in to the nearest branch and I was told RM 1 is fine but the hassle of going to branch just to submit this. QUOTE(Lineage @ Sep 7 2015, 10:12 AM) I faxed mine, then after 2-3 days called to double confirm..already successfully updated in their system.. Sorry can only walk into branch or fax or by postage. QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 7 2015, 10:28 AM) Good for you guys, I asked few CS and all of them told me walk in to UOB. Anyway, I might do it since fax is acceptable. Still I check my transactions quite often. Clap clap, brief and simplified guide.wan7075 Here you go on the steps to register an online UOB account: 1) Go to https://www.uob.com.my/uob/index.jsp and click on ![]() 2) Then a pop up window will appear, click on the continue button . Do not click on the " If you have other UOB products (ie. Savings Account, Loan, Fixed Deposit), please continue your login here after obtained a TPIN." I made this mistake earlier by clicking it. 3) Another pop up window will appear, click on the TnC agreement. 4) Proceed to next step and fill in the necessary in this page and you are good to go from here. ![]() Any problem can let us know. |

I would like to clarify that the Smart$ was credited fully for my previous 4 attempts at BHPetrol. I saw the wrong column previously.
Even the wordings of Affin Bank can be seen behind the cc receipt, the smart$ is still credited. |

QUOTE(tenchi0205 @ Sep 24 2015, 09:57 AM) How do you confirm you have 2 years free AF? Phoned the customer service? I just started using and I have no idea my AFZAN is being waived for 1 year or 2 years, haven't called up the CS yet. Must be careful on the AF, rm168 for one plat is not cheap. |

QUOTE(PPZ @ Oct 21 2015, 03:39 PM) previously was using Maybankard 2 cards but since they drop the 5% weekend, lost interest in the card. Found this card instead. I spend more on petrol and maybe some online shopping. For petrol it's good with uob one cc. For online shopping it has got to be uob vox cc. Try reading a few pages back about the vox cc.So worth it? |

QUOTE(PPZ @ Oct 21 2015, 04:08 PM) Try to get uob one platinum, can spend up to rm500 of petrol to get cash back. But remember to ask what annual fee is waived for 1 or 2 years. The AF is quite high. When there is no more annual fees waiver I will cancel off this card. |
