For smartrebate on bhp, if the petrol station machine can take credit card, u will directly get the 2% (not shown in the receipt). If the petrol station machine does not take credit card, you have to go counter and let them swipe. But once they swipe, you will get a receipt that state the smart rebate you get. So, to be safe, always go to the counter and check the smart rebate.

On the other hand, swipe in the counter will charge your card directly but use in petrol machine will charge you after 2 days. So lets say this month your CR already use up, you can use the petrol machine to delay 2 days of the charge and bring to the next month statement if it is close to the statement date. Cheers

i received sms saying my card approved.
then another sms saying if i activate my cards by xx date, i will get first 2 years annual fee waiver...

Regarding the sms alert, need to fill in the form send by mail/fax/email or call the CS will do?

Any limit? RM1 also can?

I heard need to walk in to the nearest branch and I was told RM 1 is fine but the hassle of going to branch just to submit this.

I faxed mine, then after 2-3 days called to double confirm..already successfully updated in their system..

Good for you guys, I asked few CS and all of them told me walk in to UOB. Anyway, I might do it since fax is acceptable. Still I check my transactions quite often.
wan7075 Here you go on the steps to register an online UOB account:
1) Go to https://www.uob.com.my/uob/index.jsp and click on
2) Then a pop up window will appear, click on the continue button . Do not click on the " If you have other UOB products (ie. Savings Account, Loan, Fixed Deposit), please continue your login here after obtained a TPIN." I made this mistake earlier by clicking it.
3) Another pop up window will appear, click on the TnC agreement.
4) Proceed to next step and fill in the necessary in this page and you are good to go from here.

previously was using Maybankard 2 cards but since they drop the 5% weekend, lost interest in the card. Found this card instead. I spend more on petrol and maybe some online shopping.

hmm.. i think i use more on petrol than to shop online. Maybe stick to One card.

when i receive this card, i have to call their CS and ask for waiver or wait until they charge me?

hi, if i swipe at fuel dispenser, how can i know whether its affin bank or uob terminal?
but the back of printer paper is affin bank, and i do receive smart cash
