Terrible uob service. Didnt get my cc after a month they approved me. Until i ask them to do replacement and send it to the branch.

Branch also called me once only which i didnt manage to pick up the call. Thats it their serivce.

Feel like dont want to activate their cc since their service so terrible.

Pros:
i) No cross border. Nobody has reported so far for this. I think UOB doesn't have.
ii) Pure RM 50 cash back for online transactions
iii) Cash rebate for TM. (Yeay!)
iv) Cash rebate for flight tickets.
v) 5.3% cash rebate it seems.

Cons:
i) Only online transactions above RM 50 are entitled for cash rebate
ii) Slow posting of cash rebate
iii) AF based on monthly basis, need to have at least one swipe or pay for RM 6 per month

It takes roughly 2 months to get back the cash rebate on top of the slow posting, right? Swipe now, rebate later in 2 months?

Yes about two months. You swipe today, your cash rebate will be consolidated on next month's 30th and posted few days after that.

maybe can appeal to convert ur preferred platinum to vox?

maybe after they checked your one card and preferred plat card, you do not use those cards much? if that's the case, they will not approve another card for you. so the best is to convert one of the "less used" card to vox as suggested by alexanderclz.

Have you tried paying bills using POSONLINE? If we spend >rm1k online & convert to their 6mth EPP instalment plan, will we still getting the 5%cash back? :-P
