QUOTE(ben3003 @ Aug 3 2015, 02:05 PM) i also found out is becos of this auto light function too.. becos if auto-light, the car when dark around 5.30pm like tat the light will on already, summore early morning u start car, indoor, also the light will on.. and imagine u start car with the lights on. then on and off on and off, filament sure not so good one. If is LED is ok becos LED actually on and off all the while in a very fast manner, naked eye cannot see, maybe 1sec on and off 300 times like tat.. bendix will eat ur brake disc, i tried at my old persona.btw, anyone using bendix brake pad? Can i change brake pad outside SC? i believe this wont void warranty right? I going to change mine too in coming few month, will go for rapid stop. It won't void warranty, but if you use pad that damage ur brake disk, you can't claim form SC of coz. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 3 2015, 05:44 PM) ebc also manufacturers for oem replacement, low dust/low noise applications. either ultimax/greenstuff/redstuff. local din sell?only yellow is their performance oriented/occasional track usage series. =edit= after FOREX/shipping, it can range between 200-400+ depending on model/shipping/tax (if you kena). |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 3 2015, 05:56 PM) got, but usually older stock (or even older version) and pricing usually very jacked up especially for non proton models. just roughly went to EBC site search, Preve is not in their list... means tak ada model for preve?for proton models, they are actually cheaper if you get ~36% automotive tax (about 30% + 6% GST, previouslly was around 30% + 10% sales tax) |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Aug 6 2015, 10:24 AM) changed my car batt this morning, my old batt official died after 3yrs+ nearly 4yrs, my preve was the very first batch. Changed to hitachi, but the model no abit different is 50d23L, not 55d23L. Will there be any differences between the two? as the size is totally the same. around rm290 include gst.. how much is ramcar batt selling at sc? i heard ramcar is top quality battery.. What i read from net that we can use slightly smaller or bigger size compare to stock one. Its the spec of ur new battery same with Ramcar?i changed to Yokohama Gold last week cost RM270. same size i think. stock battery from SC is RM400 if I'm not mistaken~ |

QUOTE(SportyHandling @ Aug 13 2015, 04:41 PM) I am not referring to the normal CVT sound during acceleration which is already loud in nature. That is the inherent characteristic of the Preve's CVT, the low-frequency whining sound from the transmission when the car is accelerating. The sound is normal for a car that does not have any problem. i realize my CFE has "duk duk duk duk duk' sound when step on pedal, especially going up hill or from standstill. The loud and weird noise is a separate sound, an extraneous (additional) sound from the transmission which sounded REALLY LOUD and audible. It sounds like "Wooo wooo wooo" when you step on the pedal. The sound will last for about 4-5 seconds, then it will eventually disappear by itself, back to normal. I tried to find a video on Youtube that may show the sound but cannot find any. Instead, I found a more serious video which shows a more serious problem :- Its the same symptom? |

QUOTE(K2002 @ Sep 28 2015, 02:35 PM) if you press the accelerator to the floor most of the time. the car vibration will come back less than 6 months. at most will stop the mini vibrate within 1 year. I think i nvr do press to floor with it pun, vibration start after 1 year and getting worst recently. Car age turning 3 years in next April... |
