where can I find info regarding preve tyre and rim sizes?
Wish to change tyres soon and would like to know my choices of rims.
Can downsize to 15" rims with thicker tyres? Thank you in advance.
Also what offset and width rims recommended?

You need to take out the front bumper. There are three screws securing the headlight bracket to the frame.

I think i need photos or more detailed instructions, like location of nuts, screws to open, like that.
any preve forums or clubs to introduce? Need to learn more. Thanks

As you would expect from any properly-fitted or stock HID projectors, clean cut off line. The difference in lens size (usually those retrofit lens would use 2.5" lens) is apparent in the side spread, my 3" illuminates larger side area compared to 2.5" lens.

I'll see if I can take some pics afterwards.
*
hope not too much to ask, if u able to capture the cut off and the floor pattern, that would be very appreciated. btw, changing like this only good for hid?

Preve headlights are cold-sealed (permanent) from the manufacturer (not Proton), so they can't and won't change just the lens. If your car is still under warranty, get them to change the entire headlight assembly.

One side of headlight is around 700+ IIANM.

so its confirmed that the projector lens should be crystal clear, not foggy? i wonder i can try ask for warranty or not. will try first if its free.

Late but as promised.

Nice cut off that won't glare incoming or vehicles in front of me.

If you look carefully, the lens is a bit deeper than the stock halogen projector. You can see the gap between the lens and shroud, and compare it to the stock projector lens.

how do we make the front fog lamps work standalone?
Currently it can only be turned on if the lights are on too.
I installed DRL into foglamps switch but need them to standalone. Thanks

1. What is the best/recommended LED bulbs for fog l lamp?
2. Is dual/tri color led good? Anyone tested?
3. Is 4500k color temp good when rainy night? How about 6000k?
4. What is the recommend LED watt as I see so many watt to choose.

Thanks.
*
1. for fog lamp, use only HB4 or 9006 LED bulbs. I changed mine to 6000K very nice tongue.gif
2. havent tested but I will not favour it. Because it is like a normal LED bulb being cut into half (the CREE part) so the brightness will be reduced. However, for cosmetic purpose, should be fine lar.
3. 4500K is OK, it is as white as you can get. I'm using ultinon 6000K for main headlamps but its not blue, its pure white. In rain you cant "see" your white light as well as a yellow light, but its actually there. Test it in dark roads and you know what I mean. No problem for me so far, actually i find white light easier to see at night than yellow lights now. Most obvious is road signs and especially the road lines paint (what u call it?) will actually pop-up under white lights.
4. if china brands, the wattage they stated all cannot believe. They will claim 55W or even 100W but all not very bright. Use proper brands.
My 35W philips (main headlamp) is brighter than the claimed 55W of my china brand LED bulbs (in foglamps)

in case you curious, this is the original philips H7 LED bulb.

where u bought it? any extra stuff need to purchase to accomodate the led bulb?
*
i bought from lazada if not wrong. no things needed. just plug out old bulb, then plug this one in (the instructions are given together with the bulb).
It comes with an LED driver unit, but its so small (sized like cigarette lighter) i just push it into the headlamp assembly and close everything up neatly with the standard rubber dust cap. Actually what i like most about this LED is it consume less power and there is no "sudden dim" dip when compressor kicks in.
