All the circuits and wiring are well insulated and hidden behind the door panel, no amount of rain water can damage them, unless fully submerged laugh.gif

Asking a question:

HID conversion will attract JPJ, what about LED conversion?

Met with accident, front bumper gone, the hood is still knockable, right bracket gone, and leaked radiator which is weldable.

Luckily not my fault and the perp pays everything, but still, it hurts cry.gif

By the way, is this the correct part number for the Proton badge on the front grille? The grille is unscathed, but the badge is.

Thanks for the information. IF you happen to have sat in both cars which come in VT3 and VT3+, is the difference in noise and whine characteristics appreciable or tangible, or it is subtle ie. negligible?
Thanks for the information.
*
VT3+ is used in Suprima. Quite a noticeable difference, much quieter.

Okay, thanks for the information. Interesting the new and quieter VT3+ is only installed on the Suprima and Preve Limited Edition. The newer Preve Turbo also uses the VT3 and not the VT3+? Proton should have installed the VT3+ to all the Preve models if it is much quieter than the VT3+.

So the low frequency whine (loud engine sound) is not present in the Preve Limited Edition and other Proton cars with the VT3+ transmission? If that's the case, the car must be very quiet at Japanese car levels - Altis, Sylphy?
*
Nah, not to that refined level yet smile.gif

Guys,

I'm going to paint my car exterior soon, any nice color comes to mind?

The new CRV blue/grey looks nice but I like something darker than that smile.gif

Steel Metallic like the one on the new Honda Jazz.

Yeah thinking of going down this color path, but I guess what I'm really looking into is the Preve Sapphire color, that metallic dark grey is just awesome on Preve.

Nah the cost is high, furthermore I have a real case where my friend damaged the paint when removing the wrap at a chipped area.

Playing with Photoshop now to see which looks the best laugh.gif

Haha. Alright. Never had changed any bulb from SC before. Didn't know what type of bulb they use. Thanks for your reply.  notworthy.gif

Either Philips or Osram.

But stock (out of factory) should be from Philips.

THe head lights on my car blew again for the 3rd or 4th time. This time round 2 bulbs blew on the left headlamp and 1 bulb blew on the right headlamp. It seems like the light bulbs are blowing quite frequently on my car, and I wonder what is wrong.

Changed your wire harness already?

Well the mechanic told me the wire harness could be the reason why the bulbs went out. Coincidentally, I've never faced anymore burnt bulb, it has been a year.

Proton trait, the aircond is very cool, which I like very much considering the Malaysian climate.
