Amazing that the low spec Preve is now selling at RM49,000+. Certainly a bargain for the price. With this kind of price, I presume the high-spec Preve Turbo should be selling between RM60,000-65,000. Very good value at this price.

No more major problems and the car drives fine. Just a soft "wooo" sound in low acceleration and minor rattling "tak tak" sound from the dashboard and gear knob area. Other than these minor quality issues, the car drives as normal now. However, will need to get the front driver's seat changed during my next service appointment as it is defective, producing noises when the back rubs against the seat.

* I have sensitive ears.

Reason was i didnt Service my car on time. Cos i usually service my car weeks later than the assigned date as im using fully syn but the mileage is always over 5k abit only.

I am newbie here. I want to ask for opinion.

I am thinking to buy Preve. Using Viva makes me kinda skeptical about proton cars especially  preve because my viva is so nice to me. But i need a pace of change and thinking that preve might the suitable choice when come to budget and probably maintenance.

So, I got offer to take 2014 Preve with 8k discount. Is it ok buy a car which not able to be sold for almost 2 years?

What about the components inside considering this car might be idle and the engine not started for almost 2 years?

Do you guys have trouble with 2014 preve?

Does it come with 6 airbags?

Timing belt is 130+

Luckily Preve uses belt instead of chain. Timing chain would cost much more than that.

I have seen these small bits and pieces of sponges in my car once when I was cleaning the car's carpet. The broken pieces of sponges were not actually inside the air-cond vents but beneath the driver's seat. At first I thought the sponges came from the fabric seats, suspecting the seats had a tear and the sponges leaked out or something. But after second thought, the bits and pieces of sponges may have come out from the air-cond vents in my car. If not the main vents at the top, maybe the vents located beneath, near the legs. I didn't bother to pursue to the matter further as it is a small problem to me. After I cleaned up the sponge beneath the seat, I don't see anymore sponges. There are more "problems" with my car that I need to get them sorted out soon in my next appointment.

In your case, you should highlight your case and let them check and fix the problem.
