If it's resistive screen, you need to use your finger nail to tap on the screen.  Using the skin part.will be less effective.

that's a no brainer sweat.gif

the thing that i'm asking is, is there any preferred sc that i can refer to for this problem or any sc will do?
like which sc is better for headunit problem?
if anyone have experience regarding this, would appreciate for some input. smile.gif

I thought S was meant for like, Stepped ratios? Like a simulated ratios as a conventional auto gearbox?

But I noticed when using S mode, the engine rev high but there's no momentum gain. Kinda wasting fuel.

When using D, easily reach 200-210 going full throttle. Was really impressed by that first time.

Even got to test power with mercedes E class i think, but cant remember which series, at 200kmh he still tailgating with no sweat behind and i gave away coz no confident edi biggrin.gif

Motor journalist Yamin Vong claims that Proton is planning on launching a 2nd gen Preve next year which may be based on the Geely Emgrand GL. A B-segment SUV is also coming in 2019 as well.

I really hope that the Preve replacement project is true. We'll see in the coming months. Would be nice if the exterior is totally different from the donor car.

Replacements are nice. Just hopefully the level of safety-ness and body rigidity is the same or better biggrin.gif

Fixed the problem myself after consulting Dr. Youtube.

Not 100% identical lock but same principle.

There is one moving part that will engage the lock when the lid is pressed down. This part needs some greasing for it to move freely.

Replacing it with a new one is not just a waste of money but also a waste of resources (metal, plastic, etc) while a simple fix can do the job.

Hi, I'm having the same issue currently. Just to be sure, "when the lid is pressed down" do u mean the key fob button?

So have to open up the key fob and service it basically? tq

Yes, that is the one. There is a latch on the other side. spray oil on the inside and use a small rod / screw driver to move it side way, so that it is easier for it to move.

Good luck!

Ah, i see. Ok this is embarrassing but i think i've read and replied the post wrongly! haha sweat.gif

The issue i'm having currently is actually the door locking issue whereby first press, the door lock and second press, mirror fold and alarm arming which being mentioned by fix24311 below.
Sometimes can get the door locking and mirror folding at the same time (which is how it should be) but recently not like that.

Tq for clarifying btw. Might come in handy when my car is having that issue. biggrin.gif

I got this issue occasionally too. At first I thought the door switch is the culprit. Did self test and indeed the front passenger door switch was faulty. Replaced it. Works fine for a few weeks until it started again.
Bought OBD reader and scan using Car Scanner app. Got result about immobilizer not detected or something. Check with SC they too suspect the key fob is faulty.
They ask me to use my spare key fob instead to properly confirm their suspicion.

Have you found out what's causing your issue? It's been 6 months since your last post  biggrin.gif

Hi, is it actually caused by the door switch fix24311?

Hey guys, I was just sitting in my car one day and engine is running just playing phone when suddenly I noticed my cluster meter flickered.

Then I waited for it to happen again and after two times, engine suddenly died. Can start again as usual but this thing currently happening once in a while. This is new and never happened before. Not sure what causing it.

Anyone has any history of this happening or know the cause of it?

Battery is new replaced last month. Other than that the car is running well.
