Hope I can 'tahan' it for another 1,000KM next service. Quite shock to see it this morning, thought what rat shit is that. I tracked some v21, v22 forumers posted this, hope can the answer from them.

Since you have brought it up. Yes, I forgot to mention that "rats" came into my mind when I saw the small bits and pieces of sponges all over the carpet beneath the driver's seat. I was actually shocked to see the yellow sponges lying on the floor all over. It was not near the accelerator of the car when you usually put your feet, but beneath the seat. Hence, you won't notice the sponges if you don't bend down and look below the seat.

After 2nd thought, I didn't think that the rats might have chewed the fabric seats and caused the sponges to leak out, and I didn't think that the seats have any sponge in it. Hence I ruled out the rats.

Until today, I still do not know the exact explanation where the sponges have come. Must be either from the air-cond vents or the driver's seat (I didn't investigate further by scrutinizing below the seat, cannot bend my head too much).

As expected, sc ppl called me and told me they still cant solve the shock absorber sound… this is my 3rd time send my car to sc for this problems.

1st time, they done nothing
2nd time, they checked for 3 days and told me a part need to change
3rd time, part changed but problem remain… asked me to go after cny… I asked them to check carefully and tell me what are u going to do after cny and not after cny u all jz re-check everything and the process go round and round and never ending…

Car problem is one problem, and add with attitude of the sc ppl towards the problem… and this is what I get, total frustration!

Which SC you have gone to? You may give COSE a try, just along KESAS highway at Shah Alam. I believe this is Proton's biggest service centre which may resolve the problem of your car.

From the lesson of the gearbox replacement of my car, you will have the problem resolved in the end, but for a price - you may need to bring your car to the service centre many times. Perhaps as you have mentioned, due to incompetence, attitude, or some other reasons. I have visited the service centre not less than 7 times when the gearbox of my car was replaced with a new one (the new gearbox also gave problems and I had visited the service centre many times to have it fixed). Hence I can understand the frustration.

I hope you will eventually have the problem fixed. I have not encountered any problem with the shock absorbers on my car so far (touch wood).

Normal, mine has it also.
The radiator fan spinning for a while after engine has been turn off, this is to further cool down the radiator for engine protection from heat.

This is a feature, and exist in most turbo vehicles, especially pickup truck or 4x4 truck.

Oh, like this then you definitely have to go to SC to rectify this.
The radiator fan on my preve spin occasionally for not more than a minute after engine off.

Hi all bro

I have read many forum and blog, for me no preve suprima and exora is perfect.
My experiance, cfe engine lot of maintenance cost :
1. Brake pad over rm4xx
2. Plug rm3xx
3. Major service over 1k
4. Cfe over city vios avanza maintenance cost. Money is king 😀
Quality still poor example seat, bulb lamp, wiper, power windows, noise sana sini. Haha...
Bad for me : 😭😭😭😭
1. CVT louder 'wooo wooo' when slow accerelating. Some foreman call 'humming sound' like gear terbakar
2. Cfe can't tahan panas,my head cam cover there are early signs of leakage. Duit oh duit..😬😬
3. Turbo lag
4. Jerk but...i still give a credit for cfe bcoz performance.
Performance i think ok la. Be remembered cfe just 136bhp and low presure turbo. But I can fight with (suka suka je dengan kawan tempat kerja) :
1. Putra at 2nd link hihgway - win
2. EG normal vtec - win like kacang, hehe
3. Saga flx 1.6 i try over 190kmh. Not depleted oil press. Saga flx makan asap 💪
4. Toyota engine blaktop - i try from gear 3 till top speed at JPO highway. I can cucuk angin and when top speed come, i can potong he. You can google blacktop engine is competitor with vtec B16A. I think not bad la cfe. Klu pandai main boleh makan EG9
For me 60-40 la...60 for performance and 40 for maintenance,cost,quality..the major problem service after sales..proton must to up 100% carry with users, costing, complaint, solve problem..sad if u sent to SC but prob still repeat

So do yo think worth it to buy cfe car? Or just wait GDI and TGDI 2017.

Try check if your car seat produce the sound? I used to have it like ''yek yek" sound but it is found our car seat when ever we pass thru bump. Anyway they also replace one stabilizer bar nuts for me.

But i still have a tuk tuk sound when pass thru bump or uneven road, i downgrade my front tyres in to 200 psi and the sound getting less. One fine day, i will replace all tyres to soft type.

Hi guys, does anyone knows where I can buy mudflaps, that is specifically design, for preve? My car always "comot" if it's raining.. cry.gif..

The front doors and the side panels behind rear wheels of my preve always full of road dirt.

I've already asked several accessories centres including Brothers but they done have them, only generic mudflaps.

If you feel your fan been spinning too long, you can take out the relay that related to the fan. Refer to the manual book provided. Just open the fuse / relay box and cabut.
But this one for temporary lah. To prevent your battery from kong. Better bring to the SC.

For next service
- rubber lining on the roof looks like 'swollen'
- front hood sensor keep on sounding when I drive over 150km/h or 140/h+bumpy road. Sensor issue?
-wind sound came from back passenger seat / window I think...

We all hear all sorts of noises when driving this car laugh.gif

Perhaps it's the common rods under the bonnet, just move the clip to the center so they don't touch each other.
