Hi guys...i just bought a surface pro 3 back in june, already sent in my device for one to one replacement due to the kickstand uneven issue when closed.

Do you guys have the same problem with the kickstand when it is close, the gap is not even when sliding finger over it?

Like this...in closed position...there is this gap in between the tablet...this gap..the middle part of the kickstand protruded a little bit..when you slide you finger along the gap...it feels like running along a bumpy road

Mine is meant for sp3...they have a version for sp4....this sucker is built like a tank

it is impossible to fix due to its structure, i broke my screen last month, have to pay $1340 for a replacement, guess what? they send a brand new one without the sticker saying 'Fixed'. got the replacement in 3 days time. this is my second replacement :-(

i did i asked the warranty department, they mentioned speed of replacement is depending on stock availability. my first replacement is free of charge due to kickstand not installed evenly. i got my first replacement within 3 days and it was a recond unit. my second replacement was duely my own fault and i got the brand new unit within 3 days also. luck i guess.

No such thing as replace with a brand new one, they will take your damaged unit... fix it and send it out as a replacement unit. I know cause my first replacement has a sticker on the box stated 'fixed'. While my second replacement doesn't has that sticker.
