Can anybody comment on the 2gb ram found in Surface 3? Will it cause any lags along the way?

Bought a new and sealed Surface 3, but once I registered the serial number I realized the technical warranty has expired and the hardware warranty will expire on 6/11/16. The seller says the Surface has a 1 year warranty with Microsoft Malaysia. Can anyone confirm this?
And should I upgrade it to Win 10?
64gb/4gb model

My S3 feels heavy on the bed. Tend to use Ipad Air 2 for this purpose since it is lighter. If S3 is less than 500g then that would be better.

I had the Surface 3 before and I sold it off due to its bulkiness (not very feasible on bed). Plus it is kind of slow.
Is Surface Go any better than the Surface 3 in terms of size, weight and speed?

May I have a small review on Surface Go, the one with 8gb of ram and 128ssd?
How does it perform on Microsoft Office apps? Eg Word, Excel. How many tabs can I open at one time without any lags?
