Guys,I'm thinking of selling my Surface Pro 3 [i5/8GB/256GB]. It was bought about two weeks ago. Do you think a price of RM3700 with Type Cover would be reasonable?

Well, the second day the SP3 was with me, I dropped it and cracked the screen. So I sent it to MS for repairs.
It's supposed to be back soon, and right now I'm quite afraid to use it. And I also need the cash for something else.

I made the mistake of using the SP3 as a tablet first, laptop second while it should be the other way around.

Thinking of getting SP3 or Asus UX305
i5 4GB ram vs Core M 8GB ram
Need it to do heavy browsing + editing raw file in photoshop
I wonder can Core M mange the raw file or not?
I saw Toshiba portege z20t editing raw file in photoshop having delay or lag when adjusting the bar. Might get even worse when doing multiple layer editing.
While concern on SP3 is battery life and heating issue. 4GB ram might not enough for me to do heavy browsing.
Any suggestion?

Between the UX305 with 8GB and the i5 SP3 with 4GB of RAM, the UX305 might be the better choice. 4GB is not enough for W10 with the way it handles RAM. The "system" process alone would use more than 1GB of RAM.
Also, AFAIK the Core M is about as powerfull as the Haswell-Y in the i3 SP3 so it should still be powerful.
As for battery life and heat, I think the SP3 handles them well. I can go two days worth of classes between charges, and the heat is about as much as a modern smartphone when gaming [except for the fan noise, which is noticeable but not annoying.]

Hey guys, can I know where I can fix my SP3 cracked screen, it's at the corner of the screen. Any reliable shop with reasonable price?

I sent mine to Microsoft back since the I can't find anyone who can repair it, and the screen itself seems to be really expensive at eBay. Based on what I read at reddit, Microsoft will give a replacement unit instead of the one you sent in. They charged me RM1340 for the repair. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif
