QUOTE(young_97 @ Nov 25 2015, 11:57 PM) Hi, how long does the SP4 battery life can last? Anyone knows any store in penang have stock ady? Seems most store here still demo SP3 As far as I know, only Gurney Thundermatch got. Avoid Senheng at all cost. Preordered on day 1, they told me 19th will get, on that day call them, they say delayed to next week, the next week they didnt update me at all until i call them, they say got stock but not in Penang, the next day will send in, the next day call them again they say nobody went to pick up the stock, delayed 2 days again.

QUOTE(young_97 @ Nov 26 2015, 05:32 PM) can SP4 i5 battery last for 6 hours for normal usage ? definitely can. But it really depends on your usage, some people said that they only get 4~5 hours. Similar to my old surface pro, people say they only get 3~4 hours, but i usually use up to 7~8 hours. Turn of bluetooth, brightness low will actually help a lot.

QUOTE(young_97 @ Nov 26 2015, 05:46 PM) Microsoft claims that can up to 9 hrs ... if really can last that long tiok very good for me as my current laptop can only last around 2 hrs for light usage, its annoying as i need to "hug the wall" frequently and troublesome when theres no power plug around Normal usage for me usually is around 5~6 hours+, as in photoshop and chrome. If I only use it for browsing and some short youtube videos, it can really last like 8 hours. And this is coming from a very old Surface Pro model, the one that consume A LOT of power. Surface Pro 4 will definitely last longer. Of course you have to optimize it properly, maybe go power saving mode, when you're browsing and stuff doesn't require too much processing power, limit it. Brightness, turn off other unnecessary stuff. This post has been edited by MattAces: Nov 26 2015, 06:31 PM

QUOTE(keysersozeinfinit @ Nov 27 2015, 11:28 AM) Thanks for the advise. After my LAZADA ordeal now really phobia for online shopping. Now i am at Harvey Norman page and whether to press proceed with payment. A lot things running in my mind like.... 1. Will i paid and then the package don't arrive due to delay again but you can buy from retail outlets. Sigh. don't even bother buying it online, you can actually check the stock availability throughout every harvey norman, if they have stock, just go to the shop and buy.

QUOTE(dkwkej @ Nov 27 2015, 10:51 PM) Today, I canceled surface order in Lazada. Wednesday I called Lazada in the morning and asked that when can I get surface. They told me I can't get surface until next week but i didn't believe that so I wanna know whether Lazada have surface or not so they told me they will call as soon as they can possible of course they didnt call me. So I called Thursday in the morning and asked again when can I get my surface and they told me they didn't get answer yet and they promised me call on Thursday. Of course they didn't call me again. So, today I called them again and asked that when can i get my surface. And they said they have shipped me on Tuesday. They always lied so i didn't believe. I strongly asked that if they have shipped me give me the tracking number. And the lazada told me they can't track now they will call later. So I told them I want it right now coz lazada never contact me. They sail they will call me I said that no i want it right now. Thus, the guy who answered my phone gave his private number and promised to me call today or tomorrow. And around 5 pm i got call the don't have stock so they don't know when can i get surface pro 4 . So I canceled. This is fucking lazada haha To be fair, it wasn't only Lazada giving so much trouble. Almost every shop still don't have stock, most probably the big shipment of SP4 is facing some problem in custom.

QUOTE(young_97 @ Nov 28 2015, 10:30 AM) Cause my current laptop only last for 2 hours..(Even just browsing). and its heavy (aprox 2.5KG) without charger. Hoping that SP4 can have the mobility that i want . btw is there any cheaper Surface alternative (runs atleast i5)? thanks Finally spent a day with my SP4. Here's my report on the battery. It took me 2 hours to charge full 100%, around 2pm was fully charged for me. I started using it to watch youtube for around 40 minutes while browsing other stuff, then I tried Steam In Home Streaming Fallout 4 and Rayman Legends for around 20 minutes. I downloaded a few games in steam that took me around 2 ~ 3 hours+. I then played some games for awhile, browsing stuff and just doing casual stuff. From fully charged 2pm, I used it until around 3am midnight, with the mixture of brightness low and power saving mode. Of course in between the 13 hours I got rest for awhile. QUOTE(vassalle @ Nov 29 2015, 03:37 AM) Anyone here knows where I can get a decent screen protector for SP4 around KL? Preferably tempered glass. Something like this http://www.amazon.com/Shield-Tempered-Glas...+tempered+glassThanks Why do you want to waste money on screen protector or even a tempered glass to make your fancy device thicker? It's not like a screen protector will save your screen from shattered or anything. The surface is using gorilla glass, the whole point of them using this is so that you don't have to buy extra protector.

QUOTE(ianho @ Dec 1 2015, 10:40 AM) If u think Gorilla Glass doesnt get scratched............u must b on Fantasy Island. Hahaha Scratch or not, if you think a simple screen protector will prevent it from shattering, then you must b on Fantasy Island too. QUOTE(ianho @ Dec 2 2015, 01:49 AM) Hahahahahahahahahahhaahhaa. Ini betul betul Fantasy Island mia olang. Nobody talked about shattering except urself. Sindiri ciakap, sindiri syiok. What I'm saying is, screen protector doesn't help. If you're worried about scratches, Gorilla Glass has been proven to be almost impossible to scratch, unless you purposely scratch it with some machine. If you're worried about shattering, even you also know it is impossible. My main point is screen protector is useless. Don't know why you're so angry and rude about it by saying I'm in fantasy land and sendiri cakap sendiri syok. Not trying to argue with you, just proving my point. cheers.

QUOTE(ianho @ Dec 2 2015, 03:11 AM) Don't simply spew misinformation. Gorilla Glass can be scratched n most ppl who don't use SP will end up with scratches. My Surface Pro also got scratches before putting SP. Even original Samsung plastic screen case can scratch the Gorilla Glass. People put SP to prevent scratches, not prevent shattering. Believing that Gorilla Glass cannot scratch is really living in Fantasy Island. Nobody being rude or angry. Don't emo la. Hahaha Though, I'm genuinely curious how you scratch your screen. I've been using my SP for 2 years + without a single scratches on screen. Same goes to my phone and any other devices using Gorilla Glass. I'm not spewing misinformation, I saw many scratch test for Gorilla Glass 4 and they held up pretty well and I don't remember seeing any failed test except for shattering.
