has anyone purchased a surface laptop 3 in KL yet?

Is the Pro X coming here too? I just bought the Surface Go.  Really want the Pro X because of its LTE especially. But very rarely Windows on Arm devices sold here.

Wanto ask right. My SP6 with the dock, the dock only support 2 display port. If I get the converter to hdmi from Microsoft is at around rm180...

But there are other brands cheaper. May I know anyone uses the converter? Can recommend Any converter to connect the dock? Or Microsoft is the best.

Actually now better go for SP7 or SP6? 
I've checked in lazada and shoppee,  seems like not big difference in price between the 2.....

While browsing the Shopee, they also have the Certified Refurbished the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Is it OK?

Which is better? The Surface Go or the Surface Pro 3?

I'm worried about that too, I'm not willing to fork out that much just to repair it. That's why I'm researching ways to DIY repair this, it's gonna be junk either way regardless of if I left it to collect dust, recycle or break it while attempting to repair myself.

Update on the DIY adventure, got the battery for around 180 MYR. Tried replacing it, ended up breaking the screen , the screen didn't crack but there was artifacts on the display after re-assembled back. Either I still wasn't careful enough or the heat gun was too hot and damaged the screen. Here I thought I did it without breaking the screen since there's no visible crack whatsoever haha. Acquired a replacement screen for 380 MYR. Total repair cost 560 MYR, still way cheaper than getting 3rd party to repair it. I consider this a success and a good hands-on experience! 

Guys I need help. My surface book 3 - 15 inch which i bought less than half a month ago died. I sent it to Microsoft. They sent me a NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 instead of 1660ti.

What do I do?

I am currently using MBP13 2017 since 2018. Long story short, I hate working with Mac OS. Love the build quality and speed as it has never lagged since day 1 but I find that the workflow is much slower. I can live with that but not when I spend a lot of time sorting hundreds of photos.

Want to change back to Windows. Would love to have something like Surface Pro or Surface Book as it can be small like a tablet.

Love the design of HP Spectre 360 but I am a bit skeptical about the hinge hence I am leaning towards Surface Pro 6/7 or Surface Book 2. Is SP sufficient or should I get Book 2?

Any experience with Microsoft support in Malaysia? How is it?

Hi folks, i'm considering to purchase a Surface Laptop 3 i5 matte black 13.5 inch model for general productivity (i.e Microsoft Excel/Word/Powerpoint), Video editing (rendering 1080p quality) and light Photoshop/ usage. I find the 3:2 aspect ratio to perfectly fit my needs compared to the wide 16:9/16:10 seen on the Dell XPS 9300.

Can anyone here using a Surface Laptop 3 advise on the following:

- Is the automatic adaptive brightness issue fixed by allowing the user to manual set this in the settings or is it something that still exists after firmware updates?

Sp4, battery expansions. Over 3 yrs by 1.5month still under paid replacement. Paid 1888 for the replacement on Saturday and received the replacement afternoon just now.

Parcel sent from SG because malaysia has no surface device center.
It is cheap even the replacement is the same spec with 90 days warranty only. Unfortunately i do need the unique portability and form of surface so older spec does not bother me at all.
Now anyone know how do i do with my exisiting battery pregnant version of SP4? never get to destroy a device before...

I'm intended to upgrade my novel-writing rig from current acer swift 3 (2018 version) to a microsoft surface pro 7 or Surface pro X, but somewhat tied in between usefulness and also compatibility.

1st issue in mind (portability and usability)

16gb i7 / 256gb VS 8gb i5 / 128gb (Surface pro 7)
8gb sq1 arm chip / 128gb with LTE connection (surface pro x)

As per mentioned with all 3 spec above, my main use over this tablet pc is because Im using Onenote + few browsers + wikipedia, youtube, casual browsing and always in top brightness condition wherever I go.

Will 8gb surface pr0 7 be sufficient to support my demand? (10 to 20 browsers from youtube to wikipedia, one note, maybe some apps and file transfer once a while) or 16gb would be better for lifespan (over 3 years usage)?

Or the Surface Pro X would be an even better option because it comes with LTE connection (like Yes4g everywhere I go, can become hotspot unit)?

I will be using this unit for writing most of the time, so lightweight, easy to use, and can use for long without worry about system crash or outdated is important. Hardly gaming.
