What kind of ports do you want? For example usb a, usb-c, hdmi, SD card, lan... and of course your budjet

I have the Dell Thunderbolt Dock and it works good. But it's TB3, so if you absolutely want TB4 then might need to do a bit more digging.

3 USB-A, LAN, SD, Power delivery of 100W? I was looking at Anker, Baseus or Ugreen but not sure if it’s any good. Wondering if there’s a common one everybody uses.

I think TB4 is still quite hard to find so just asking. Will check out the Dell. Thank you.

Anyone own Surface Pro 8? How is the battery life?

Am looking to get a charger for SP6 but thought of getting the new 65W charger (used for SP8).

I suppose it's no harm to use the SP8 charger on an SP6 machine?

Can't seem to find any vendor selling online Laz/Shp. Looks like I need to make a onsite visit to some of the shops selling Surface.

There's no harm. I use the 100W charger for my Surface Laptop Studio and Go 3. Cuts down on bringing around multiple chargers.

Yeah, the point is to leave a spare charger in the office (as I do most of my work in my home office) so that if I'm there, I need not worry about bringing the charger along.

I did read somewhere it's okay to use the 65W charger on the SP6. And its suggested to get the 65W instead of the 44W to futureproof the charger.

I am a macbook user.. been using my macbook pro for 7 years , no issues within 7 years, screen crack replaced once.. but now parts no more due to old version on my screen flickering and battery issues.. its time to move on..

I have been eyeing the sp8 pro..
From what i read, please acknowledge if correct as it will help me with my buying decision.
1. Battery issue is a common problem
2. Any issues within warranty period, ms my will send new device.
3. Any issue outside warranty period ms my will send new device within a certain "repair fee"

Wife uses a SP4. So far so good, touch wood.

Just gt Surface Pro 3 i7 , 8+256 below 400 bucks. Apperance of device in good condition. However, the device heat up easiuly during werb browsing and doing simple task only. Thinking to send for service and open up the casing. Was told that chance of breaking the glass is high when open up the casing. Is it worth to take the risk ?

where to send for warranty claims ?
