Mine's a Maxis SIM. Duplicated from my main line to be data-only. Not sure if that makes a difference, but from what other people have said even normal SIMs with data + mobile line should work.

Not available to purchase from the MS authorised store on Lazada. I never checked whether physical stores like Thunder Match will have it, but I have my doubts. Might have to go through a business reseller, which I have no experience in.

Hi I just bought a surface pro 7 from official microsoft shopee store but when I received the item is from SenHeng lol....

Back to question, by default it comes with 1 year warranty but is there an additional option to purchase to extend the warranty? I Ask in MS shopee but they not sure about this also.

Curious if anyone facing same issue

When my phone (Samsung Note 10) in close proximity with the Surface Pro 7, the phone will frequently not receive any wifi internet connection (evident by the Whatsapp Desktop app always showing the phone whatsapp is not connected to internet).

It's as though the phone lost the fight for wifi signal when close to the surface pro 7.

Just wondering if any surface pro owners here face problem like keyboard sometimes go haywire eg when you move your surface, it will goes into tablet mode and then goes back to normal "PC" mode. I have replaced my keyboard once, now its my new second keyboard, starting to have similar symptom as my first keyboard.

Hi Sifus, I'm planning to get Surface Pro 7 from Shopee. It seems that there's Malaysia Set and US set/AP set. If I were to take US set, what's the implication/downside of it? According to some Shopee seller, I can claim warranty from Microsoft Malaysia eventhough it is US set/AP set. Is it true?

Not built to be serviced, dead batteries, dead soldered on components... fragile screen...

Dear surface user, looking for an advice, is it worth to send out of warranty surface to Microsoft for replacement?
my SP4 keep restart and stuck at uefi loop, trying to reset using USB but nothing change.

SP4 out of warranty replacement cost is about RM2500. I think is better to get a second hand SP7 or buy a new one with top-up.

ya2. almost rm2.5k. scroll down thru 2nd hand sp. around rm2.5k only find sp5 with 4gb ram.
i guess need to topup a lil bit la.

btw, did Microsoft sending a same spec unit for replacement?

They will send the same spec, but I believe no more SP4. You will either get SP5 or SP6, same RAM and storage size.

I asked them last month.
They will give u refurbished SP5 same spec.

Now ive got one SP4 laying around cannot use keybord and got flick gate issues. Lol.

I bought SP7 instead.

Still thinking should i just get it replaced or not bcos my sp4 is i7 256gb 16ram. Not sure worth the 2.5k tak.

My SP7 pun i5 jer. Haih
