me also roll back from 10 got a white screen for a while..then u will see ur win 8.1 loading screen,but right after that u need to reset it if not appstore will have error if wan to install apps

Updated to Windows 10 successfully... So far so good...

But couldn't load my OneNote... Error message of "something went wrong and we couldn't do what you asked"... Error code 0x80070005...

Searched online and found ways to fix it for Win 8, not Win 10... Anyone here have any idea how to fix this?

Edit: Problem solved. Used admin powershell to remove program then re-install.

windows 10 and surface pro 3 are not fren especially when it comes to default onenote desktop, and miracast

but I can use miracast successfully with windows 10
been using that to cast videos to my tv to watch these 2 weeks.

Hi guys...i just bought a surface pro 3 back in june, already sent in my device for one to one replacement due to the kickstand uneven issue when closed.

Do you guys have the same problem with the kickstand when it is close, the gap is not even when sliding finger over it?

what do u mean by uneven?got any pic?

Like this...in closed position...there is this gap in between the tablet...this gap..the middle part of the kickstand protruded a little bit..when you slide you finger along the gap...it feels like running along a bumpy road

is it normal for sp3 to get hot when just doing light pdf editing?am using Drawboard pdf app..but my sp3 gets quite hot

Which processor is your SP3 is using? Depends on condition, even watching movies can make the fan spin round and round

I never do pdf editing so i cant say for sure how much workload that is, but you shouldn't feel more than warm at the top right corner on the back of surface.

I don't have an SP3, but try the Reader app to ink on pdf's, it's a resource light option

i am using i5 with 8gb ram version
oh does that app can highlight and edit on it?

Reader is a free MS app which is clean/simple but supports inking which other is not supported by some other free pdf apps.

oh i tried it but it doesnt support any highlighting documents n change pen colors
