Well for me i just used mine for work during the day most of the time from 10am til 8pm and in between it will sleep for an hour or so but mostly on one note n drawboard.n it can last me for 3days in a single charge.mine is sp3 i5 8gb version.

I downloaded a few games in steam that took me around 2 ~ 3 hours+. I then played some games for awhile, browsing stuff and just doing casual stuff. From fully charged 2pm, I used it until around 3am midnight, with the mixture of brightness low and power saving mode. Of course in between the 13 hours I got rest for awhile.

Does anyone know if there are any Microsoft service centres I can bring my SP3 in for repair? It's still under warranty. Or do I have to send it in by their courier service?

Buy from Radioshack, or last resort.. strip a 9V battery.

Why do you want to waste money on screen protector or even a tempered glass to make your fancy device thicker? It's not like a screen protector will save your screen from shattered or anything. The surface is using gorilla glass, the whole point of them using this is so that you don't have to buy extra protector.

Gorilla glass 4 doesn't need it as can stand shock and bend very good
As your type cover will act as protector when close your SP4
