Questions questions everyone ... I just gotten my MSP4, it seems the keyboard is a lil sot already. Try notice this "@" when you press shift n stuff. It seems it has swapped between those two btns..

may have something to do with keyboard layout US vs UK or vice versa. used to happen to an old laptop of mine.

exact same prob with me. just disable UK keyboard. Use US

Did you apply UK English when start your computer? That's normal. Change your language to US English or change your keyboard language in control panel

it does seems so..... though I don't think it's going to be after 1-2 years.... it should last longer...

actually most ultrabook is battery swap-able just need to do extra work disassembling stuff... in case of SP3 and SP4, you'll need to disassemble the screen which happened to be impossible without breaking

a good 2.1a charger can charge my S3. i dont bring my ori s3 charger when travel. just use my multi port charger.

Today, I canceled surface order in Lazada. Wednesday I called Lazada in the morning and asked that when can I get surface. They told me I can't get surface until next week but i didn't believe that so I wanna know whether Lazada have surface or not so they told me they will call as soon as they can possible of course they didnt call me. So I called Thursday in the morning and asked again when can I get my surface and they told me they didn't get answer yet and they promised me call on Thursday. Of course they didn't call me again. So, today I called them again and asked that when can i get my surface. And they said they have shipped me on Tuesday. They always lied so i didn't believe. I strongly asked that if they have shipped me give me the tracking number. And the lazada told me they can't track now they will call later. So I told them I want it right now coz lazada never contact me. They sail they will call me I said that no i want it right now. Thus, the guy who answered my phone gave his private number and promised to me call today or tomorrow. And around 5 pm i got call the don't have stock so they don't know when can i get surface pro 4 . So I canceled. This is fucking lazada haha

To be fair, it wasn't only Lazada giving so much trouble. Almost every shop still don't have stock, most probably the big shipment of SP4 is facing some problem in custom.

I still considering should i get a SP4 for my laptop replacement or have any others Surface Alternative. Some review say Sp4 can only last about 5 hrs.

The batt last how long actually depends on ur usage..even a laptop I believe will have the same situation,another thing what do u wanna do with ur so call replacement laptop?for work or for show off etc it all depends on one self.for example i buy surface pro bcoz i wanna replace it with my notes and also my planner and i have a lot of sketches to take along so it can replace all those heavy paper n books .

Cause my current laptop only last for 2 hours..(Even just browsing). and its heavy (aprox 2.5KG) without charger. Hoping that SP4 can have the mobility that i want .

btw is there any cheaper Surface alternative (runs atleast i5)?

It probably depends on what websites you actually browse. In my case, strictly using Chrome for web browsing with battery saver can last about 6-7 hours; I mostly browse social media, reddit and probably the occasional YouTube.

I share your frustration as i pre-ordered on the 1st day of online order with LAZADA and notice a consistent irregularities till i cancelled my order with LAZADA. LAZADA internally have a communication breakdown between their peers. If you check www.lazada.com.my you will notice the i5 256GB is still advertised as RM9,799.00 (you can see attached pic). This shows how negligent the company is. From false information of pre-ordering and stating clearly ETA 19th Nov to false pricing for the Surface Pro 4. I actually got my full refund back pretty fast, maybe because i actually got my legal department to look into it. And trust me they were very efficient in handling my case. They called, they emailed to confirm refund and also sent another email to double confirm.

Finally spent a day with my SP4. Here's my report on the battery.
It took me 2 hours to charge full 100%, around 2pm was fully charged for me.
I started using it to watch youtube for around 40 minutes while browsing other stuff, then I tried Steam In Home Streaming Fallout 4 and Rayman Legends for around 20 minutes. I downloaded a few games in steam that took me around 2 ~ 3 hours+. I then played some games for awhile, browsing stuff and just doing casual stuff. From fully charged 2pm, I used it until around 3am midnight, with the mixture of brightness low and power saving mode. Of course in between the 13 hours I got rest for awhile.
