Notes: Never tried this UX1 with Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 for recording. Last I used it for proper recording was 2 years ago, on Windows XP. No problem whatsoever. For this sale, I connected to Windows 7 (borrowed laptop), installed driver and software, do short recording, played some audio/movie (as soundcard), no problem.
