Wow, maybe new hybrid motor need HD to operate. Yeah, to store milage.
Wondering on something people put on their motor above the springs, looks like a mini bottle or something. Dont know what is it, need to snap a picture of it...

I was just wondering on Honda EX-5 Dream, does anyone know the rev the engine is running when travelling at 100?

What is the maximum power output the generator can handle? I wanna put a HID system on the motor bike. No seriously, HID!
If HID cannot go, then use halogen bulb at rated 180W. But that is about 18 amps... Can meh??

I slashed open the entire front HUD. Then I test everything - the output going into the bulb socket is AC 12V, not rectified at all. This means direct from generator. My oscillascope states about 6K rpm when I rev it (neutral) to half throttle. But the rev, I have no idea la ~ then I need a high frequency transformer to step up the voltage to engage a imported HID system that runs on 32 V. Wahahaha brows.gif

What i'm worried is; i cannot determine the maximum current the forsaken generator coil can handle. Put 10 Amps, overheat and whole motor cannot pakai then really sweat.gif

I think almost everyone that drive motor knows that the frontlight for single bulbed motor is so dim, cant see anything on the road also. Plus the street lamps at my housing area (Serdang) all have brains one. Turn off when I come doh.gif

So anyone know the maximum current the coil of the generator can handle?

My latest failed project, use LEDs as headlights. Too bad half the system burned because the frequency of the generator was so freaking high. Fried my 7805 s after testing 10 minute on the road. sweat.gif

Actually I dont feel much performance gain if change spark plug... Now use NGK plug compared to one VERY expensive one (brand is champion from japan) also feel the same only... Only the motor oil can feel the difference in speed, power and startup capability.
For my EX-5 dream~
Shell VS-X RM24 - excellent, up to 110 km/h
Shell VS RM18 - very good, up to 105
Shell S RM10 - very good also, up to 100

Castrol fully pathetic RM 38- Engine cannot start at 5.00am, too cold. Speed 90 only
